Answer:	If you are somewhat familiar with Excel, I would say no. If you are totally new to it, I may recommend upgrading to 2013 because of the slight differences may get a bit confusing. Definitely personal preference though!

Answer:	no and yes. as far as upgrade, no, 2013 will not upgrade your instance of 2007. what will happen is that an entirely new instance of office is created and you will have both 2007 and 2013 installed. your data file (.pst file) stays intact. you can then attach that data file to the new email account created in 2013 and you will have all your old emails plus anything new into the same office (2013) instance... its highly advised to remove any other old copies of office prior to install or use of 2013.

Answer:	In the past there were differences between the DVD version and the keycard/download as far as licensing went - the latter you weren't legally able to transfer to another PC. Amazon is showing the following disclaimer for both of these products: "Update: Microsoft updated the Office 2013 license. You may now transfer the software to another computer that belongs to you, but not more than one time every 90 days (except due to hardware failure, in which case you may transfer sooner). If you transfer the software to another computer, that other computer becomes the "licensed computer."So the obvious difference seems to be that the key-card is being sold cheaper than what Amazon can provide the 'download' version for. (It's being sold by a 3rd party) Both of these options will require you to download the software from Microsoft, however.
