Answer: | I imported video with audio simply by downloading but for still pictures I used audacity for my music behind the videos. I found it hard to import itunes music so I recorded some using audacity. If there are audio files on your computer they should be ok to import with the software. |

Just be aware that while the DVD may play fine on your computer and DVD player (as mine did), when I tried to play it at my sister's house her old player could not read the DVD. We just used an HDMI to connect the computer to the TV and played it that way. And yes you can add music from your computer to the slideshow. It just needs to be an audio file. I was even able to convert an old video file with music (my husband and niece were singing together and I wanted it as background music for her bridal slideshow but didn't want the whole slideshow to be a video of them). I looked it up on you tube and it wasn't too hard. |

The box image does show that it works with Windows XP and Vista, if that's any clue as to how old this is. |

Answer: | You can using the Mac provision to do so. In the system print window, instead of clicking the "Print" button you would click the PDF button and select "Save as PDF." |

Answer: | You'd just be double inputting data. I use Quicken for all my finances and CBP for writing checks. It's easier and less convoluted. I write the check and just input the transaction in quicken. |
Question: | I'm on a MAC. In addition to CheckBuilder Pro software, what other software, if any, is needed and recommended. And what brand check blanks? THX |
Answer: | You can use check paper from suppliers like VersaCheck or many others. I use "stub-check-stub" business format and get my checks from ASAP Checks, Forms and Supplies ( asapchecks.com) product number BSBM-2500 which is 2500 checks in a box. No other software is necessary, except that we use CBP to only print blank checks and use our accounting software to actually fill in the checks. |
Question: | Where is the register |
Answer: | Once you have selected the Checking account when the program opens, the check register can be selected from the "file" menu. It allows you to track your checks similar to how you would with a manual register. I only use the program to print blank checks that are then filled in with other software. The remainder of the instructions are on pages 20-22 of the CBP manual which is found under Help and is in pdf format. |
