Answer:	I purchased these to use in a residential application (galley kitchen) and could not get them to work on any style dimmer including a 0-10v. I have standard 120 v residential wiring: a switch controlled hot wire, neutral and ground go to the j box feeding these. Additional wiring was not a reasonable option for me. I was disappointed as this set is a great price, easy to install, and lots of light! I realized I was ok without needing to dim so I kept.

Remote Access the SSKHard Drive from Anywhere

When you are in a remote location (away from your SSK drive), as long as it is powered and connected to the internet and the UID setup has been completed, you will be able to access the SSK drive via cellular or wi-fi connection. In this scenario when the SSK Cloud App is opened it will first attempt to connect to the SSK drive via local connections and, if unsuccessful, will then attempt to connect via the remote UID connection. Hard Drive Operating Modes Introduction( Four Modes)

Turn on the Hard drive for Mode 1~3; Turn off the Hard drive for Mode 4.

Mode 1 Allows for wireless connection of phones / tablets / computers to the SSK Drive WITHOUT having any internet connection via the SSK Cloud App and the built in wi-fi.

The software for PC/Mac is on the drive itself. Just use it as an external drive to copy the binaries onto your system and install the ''app''.Or you can check our website to see if have the newer version.

2. For computer, You can also MAP the SSK HDD to Windows Explorer on a PC or to a Mac using the Samba Protocol. SSKCloud software has addressed to access Samba. Please Click : " Samba Management", it will switch to Samba interface automatically, you don't need to enter the IP address and password manually. After mapped, the drive will be turned to a network Drive.

Once mapped on a PC or Mac you will find a series of folders already setup under \share_sda1. The device comes with a bunch of "default" folders that you can't delete (they are all "system folders"). These must be left on the device as they are but you may freely add additional folders here and as sub folders under the already setup folders. You also can use your PC or Mac to read /write / delete files in these folders that will be accessible on the PC or Mac as well as from a phone or tablet connected to the SSK locally or remotely.

1, Why does it connect to WiFi on first time, and fail the next time?

When you first time set up, MMDVM hotspot will generete pi-star set up hotspot, which you'll

connect with, and goes into pi-star and then visit 192.168.50.1 for configuration.

If you connected to your home network/home wifi, it will remember your home wifi.

Therefore, when you open pi-star and try to update your configure, there will be no pi-star wifi.

If you came across this situation, here're two methods to log in and update you configure:

A, Visit http://pi-star on your browser, log in pi-star and configure. If you're on macOS, iOS or Windows 10 tablet, please visit http://pi-star.local.

B, Find your Device IP on your home network routers, and log in with that IP, and update your configure.

Answer:	Most electrical circuits for lighting are 20 A every three lamps you install will be equal one amp you should leave at least a 25% Cushion which means 3×15 = 45 so theoretically you can install 45 of these lights in series and not have a problem on a 20 amp circuit
Question:	Can you be more specific about cross mode capabilities? i am using a dmr handheld and would like to cross to d-star; will this accommodate that
Answer:	These need special 0-10V dimmer switches. These switches use a separate wire that run on low voltage (corresponding to 0 and 10V) to dim or brighten the lights. I bought these lights and tried to use regular dimming switches, but they won't work.

You can just open a tmp wifi hotspot by a mobile phone,set ssid to m100,and password to abc12345. Then restart the mmdvm hotspot, it will quickly connect to the tmp wifi hotspot and the oled will light on. Connect you computer to the tmp wifi hotspot too. Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.

Answer:	there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself.
