Answer: | YNAB can import from many other programs (I'm not sure about Quickbooks) but they don't recommend it. They want you to start fresh and start where you are now. I really wanted to import my 10+ years of Quicken data but I decided to trust them and I glad I did. I was able to start using YNAB right away without having to spend hours and hours massaging all those years of data (I can still use Quicken to look at that data if I need to). YNAB has made a huge difference on helping us control our finances. It's worth every penny - the key in quickly adapting to the new software is to take their classes and trust their advice.
