Answer:	That is correct. The thread on the drive wheel will not fit any grinders here in the US. It is a metric thread 14x1.5mm. I would very much like Amazon to change the drive wheel with the correct thread that suits a US type grinder thread. But I cannot find how or who to contact. I did contact the distributor but they told me to go to Amazon. No luck there

Type 27 cut-off wheels are run on a right angle grinder with a wheel guard and have a depressed center to allow for flush cuts without damaging the surrounding surface. Unlike coated abrasive discs, which shape or sand objects using the disc surface, cut-off wheels provide perpendicular cuts, using the outer edge of the wheel. Abrasive cut-off wheels are typically used for cutting through metal, for example autobody or marine sheet metal, stainless steel tubing, exhaust pipes, clamps, and rusted fasteners. Cut-off wheels are attached to a cut-off wheel tool (sold separately) and must always be used with a wheel guard for safety.
