Answer:	The cushioning in the tubes is dense enough it doesn't flop down. I guess over time it could after extended use and abuse. The dimensions of the bed is quite small, smaller than I thought and had to return it. Our use was for a 20lb dog. But if you have a 10-12 lb dog/cat, you should be fine.

Answer:	There are 2 removable frames covered in a wire grid. The squares are about 1/4 in square. In my opinion, I like the wire it keeps the bunny out of the waste. The breeder we got our bunny from used a wire bottom too. If it still concerns you they are removable.
