Question:	I want to purchase the large pet bed warmer, but it is slightly longer than my cat's bed. Is it soft enough so that I can bend one side up the bed
Answer:	I haven't used it for that particular reason but I think it would work. My main reason for purchasing was because I own a Blackstone Griddle and wanted to know the different temps on the grill top. I have however used it to measure the heat on the outside of my brick house. In the summer the sun shines directly on the front brick and it gets very hot to the touch. I have directed it at my inside walls also and it gives a temp. I have been very happy with my purchase and I think you would be also.

Question:	It says that the pads range in temp is 86F-136F, but later says it will only heat to animals normal body temp (102F) so which is it
Answer:	Bought this for my cat. She loves it. Not for sure about what tempature it gets to as I don't use a temp on it. However, when it was 30 degrees outside, I put it all the way up and my cat didn't seem to mind. When its just 50 degrees I use the lighter setting and she seems happy with that as well.

Answer:	This is the second heating pad for my dog’s bed. Sorry, don’t know if the heating element is the same size as the pad. I always buy a size smaller than the dog house, so my dog is able to lie right on the pad or move slightly off so he can move to warmer or cooler area, depending on the weather. He’s VERY smart!

Answer:	Yes, it should be. I have one of those type of rescues also who refuses to become an indoor cat. I have 2 heated mats for him. One is a softshell mat that wraps the inside of his hooded bed and a second that is a hard thermo mat which is on top of a carpeted mat infront of one of the garage window sills. I also have a propane gas heater that keeps the garage a steady comfortable temperature. To answer your question though it will be safe. If your garage is not heated, I would recommend covering the mat with at least a cardboard box to keep her warmth around her whold body.
