Question:	The instructions state there is a screw that can be tightened to fix the height of the lazy arm, but there is no screw. Am I missing a part
Answer:	Find the back of the connector where the lazy arm is attached to the central bolt. There should be either a triangle shaped piece or a winged piece (I didnt see them when I adjusted it on my critters tank) it's not a separate screw but one that has a handle on it. Like a camera tripod would.

Answer:	Pretty sure that will be alright. The extension rod basically doubles the height it can attach to. Idr what my tank height is, but it's 75-80 gal and I was able to fit it on there.

Answer:	Its made to slide just about an inch or so under the edge of the tank and then tightens at the top basically hugging the aquarium side. Problem: I can't lift my aquarium and slide the foot under the tank while holding up the tank with one hand and the stand with the other. I personally think its a terrible design not only for that reason but because the tank is just resting on the foot and to me it looks like a disaster waiting to happen. Maybe placing it under the stand would work better. Oh, the box says one stand but its two but you can just not put one of the hangers on. I'm totally bummed out because I bought the double lamp and it doesn't clamp and now I have to return the stand and gosh I just hate having to deal with the return and call UPS to come pick it up and the double lamp and crap having to order new clamp lamps and I don't trust those either. Answer:	I have used one for many years to keep chicks warm. Use a 75 or 100 watt bulb, if rated for 100 watts, and keep the lamp down low. As the chicks grow, raise the lamp and reduce the wattage. Be sure to use an incandescent bulb because LED bulbs do not emit enough heat to warm the chicks. Do not use a heat lamp bulb unless you use a fireproof (metal) brooder and have the light about 3 feet away, according to the lamp's guidelines. Also you must have a ceramic socket, not a plastic one. I do not use a heat lamp bulb on any chicks, but then I live in the South where it is beginning to get warm in March/April. If you live in the cold North, then I can't give you an answer.

Question:	Does it set on the ground or attached to the tank
Answer:	I had both the medium size and the large size of this pet bed warmer. My cats preferred the medium. Even though it is long and narrow, it gives them a choice; the whole bed is not heated but if they get too warm they could roll off of it without having to leave the bed. The large one gave them no option in the cat bed so I put it on the couch where they could still use it but could roll off of it partway when too warm. Unfortunately the large one somehow became WAY TOO HOT I think the thermostat broke. I didn't realize it until my sick old cat would not lie down, and when I put my hand on it, it was scorching hot! I cut off the cord and threw it out so no one else would try to use it. The medium ones have always worked well for me. I would think you could bend the large one somewhat up the side of the cat's bed but you might want to consider the medium size so they can choose whether to lie directly on the heat or not. I realize your question is an old one but maybe this will help you or someone!

Answer:	I only buy the K&H heating pads for my cats. The reason is they are low wattage and hold a constant 101 temperature which is the body temperature of a cat. I have used this heating pad for over 15 years. I wouldn't use any other brand they last a long time.

Answer:	The rectangular bar holder has 2 double sided permanent stickers to attach it to the glass on either side of the bar. Once attached, it not removable (without destroying the adhesive). The bar itself can still be moved up, down or turn right and left. It's seems very secure and I don't have any fears of it accidentally falling into the tank.

Answer:	I don't use a clamp. I hang a lamp by wrapping the cord around the upper arm of the bracket attached vertically to the side wall of the aquarium.

Answer:	U attach the holder to the rear of the tank or terrarium. I have 2 of them for my beardie, one for the basking light, another for the UVB light. It works great. It sticks to the back of the tank, the height is adjustable. That way, the lamps don't rest on the top of the screen.
