Answer:	If you have a demotologist, take the lamp and the paperwork into his office. Show him the paperwork that comes with the lamp. There is considerable information there about lamp power. I have patches of psoriasis that become quite irritated during the winter. My physisian has me on steriod cream. It helps but during the winter my psoriasis can become quite irritated. I set my dosage to 30 seconds. I do it every day for 30 seconds on each irritated area. This is a conservative dosage. I am fair complected and have had problems with skin cancer on my head before. (Obviously anywhere I have had skin cancer, I do not expose my skin to the lamp.) As soon as the season changes, I recommend natural light exposure. I wear a UV protective head glove (also purchased on Amazon) that covers my entire head and lay out on a chaise under natural light for about 20 minutes daily to try and get the winter outbreak back under control. I hope this helps.

Answer:	These will work for the UV B rays needed for most reptiles and amphibians to make vit D so they can absorb calcium but it does not provide heat. You need a separate bulb for that. depending on the size of your enclosure you may be able to use a regular old fashion light bulb to give enough heat. That is what I use for my bearded dragons and it keeps them at the ideal temp on the hot side of tank.

Answer:	Yes, it can be placed on a glass surface No, glass doesn't shatter because of heat. Glass WILL shatter because of RAPID, RADICAL temperature changes I.E. VERY COLD glass exposed to hot or boiling liquid, and vice versa. Heated/Cooled SLOWLY, will not break glass. It WILL however, reduce the amount of heat transfer slightly, due to the absorption of heat by the glass plate.

Answer:	This lamp will not work with all bulbs. Several things you need to do to determine compatibility: 1) Wattage. This lamp comes in 3 sizes. The maximum wattages are: 5.5" rated up to 75 watts 8.5" rated up to 150 watts 10" rated up to 250 watts 2) Bulb base. This lamp appears to have an E26 base. Most light bulbs in the US have an E26 base. 3) Bulb shape and size. This lamp is made for R and BR shape bulbs. For example, R20 bulbs will work with this lamp. The number after the R or BR is the maximum diameter of the bulb in eights of an inch. An R20 bulb is 20/8 or 2.5 inches. The sizes of this lamp (5.5", 8.5", 10") correspond to maximum supported bulb diameter. Therefore, an R20 bulb will work with all sizes of this lamp. An R50 bulb will work with some but not all sizes of this lamp. 4) Voltage. You don't really need to look at this. As the product images show, this lamp supports up to 250 V, which will work in pretty much any country (for household usage). Answer:	It came with 2 bulbs. The one that I got didn’t work. The fixture its self didn’t work. So I’m not sure! It’s a great deal though if it works.
Question:	Is this light able to be suspended above an enclosure instead of sitting on a lid
Answer:	Yes it is.
Question:	Will this fit a 10gal terriuam
Answer:	To big for a 10gal. The UBV should cover 2/3 of the tank not the whole tank. Try an 18”
Question:	So do you get an extra bulb or is this false advertisement
Answer:	The fixture comes with a 5.0 bulb inside. Then there is a separate 10.0 bulb.
