Answer:	Yes the water stays on until the bowl is full and the valve floats. That shuts off the water flow at the bowl, but the hose must remain on so when they drink and the water level falls the valve will allow water to flow again.

Answer:	Mount it on a 24 inch 1"X6" board. Tightly wire the board to the chain link fence and put a brick or concrete block under the waterer to keep it level.

Question:	The element is melting the integrated electrical wire inside the box. It's too close and the element is really hot. Anyone else experience this
Answer:	I asked my husband your question. We have not had any problems but he had added more insulation inside because we live in MN and a north wind can hit it. He said since he added more insulation we only have the heat dial turned half way up. He said the element gets very hot. So if you live in a warmer climate than MN turn down the heat. If you live in a cold climate like us, turn down the heat and add some insulation. Hope that helps.
Question:	How do you bring water into these units to keep the water line from freezing? Do you bring it straight up underneath from deep underground
Answer:	We would do it the same way they did in Montana. When we installed the waters ourselves we also put heat tapes on the riser. The water was always checked twice a day. (We put an indoor outdoor thermometer inside on the pipe so we knew IF the riser was or was not near freezing. It was Installed against a wall and the tube ran thru a wall to the opposite side so the animals couldn't play with it.) When we installed our old water we custom made it. We stuffed the unit--not real tight with bat insulation like you use in the house and glued sheet insulation inside the unit but you do have some mouse problems. The Brower has its own insulation. I have no ideal how good the insulation is. I'm not able to keep the horses here in the Winter so I'm not much help but R Chadwick method is the way I'd do it. Montana can gets a lot colder than NE!

Answer:	It is good up to -30 degree's and the temperature setting is 40 degree's

Answer:	Go to a farm store--take the part with you and compare it with whats available. Some times you can imper vise. Usually something like that is universal. IF you call a plumber I hope you have deep pockets!

Answer:	I built a small stand to mount them. If you have something already to go. Them just a hose. The float will not take a lot of PSI. I blow out two with pressure, so they ran all the time.
Question:	What does it mean "hardware not included"? What hardware is not included
Answer:	I got one last summer. I think all the hardware that I added were two angle brackets to attach the duramate to the shelf and backboard that supports it. All the plumbing, i.e., the automatic fill etc. was included. I have found it works very well. I take it down and store it in a plastic bag in the barn during the winter since we have quite a bit of freezing weather.

Answer:	I would attach a piece of pressure treated or marine lumber to the concrete wall using masonry screws. Attach the waterer to the wood. This makes it easier to remove when needed.

Answer:	Not that I am aware. It's in my garage and we have a drain in the floor so I turn off the water then swoosh the water out periodically and wipe it out with a cloth.

Question:	How does this work with freezing temps
Answer:	It will not function if your hose or pipes freeze.
Question:	How hard is this to set up? I will have to do it myself and am not that handy
Answer:	Not hard at all. You screw the hose in the top of it. The side brackets have a wing nut so you can securely fasten it to the edge of your water tank. I have the galvanized type of tank with a round lip, so it doesn't move once you install it. That's it!
Question:	Can I buy the expansion brackets separately
Answer:	I am sorry we do not carry the expansion brackets separately.
Question:	Does anyone know if this will fit a round muck bucket
Answer:	depending on the size of the bucket you may need to put a flat piece of wood (1x2) cut to the size of the plastic housing and insert so that the screws go into the wood and not the plastic. It makes it stable.
