Question:	I just purchased this for my betta. should be here tuesday. the food he ate before eagerly all of a sudden quit eating.. is this typical for bettas
Answer:	Minimum clearance is 4”. You’ll want 4-1/2” ideally as at 4” when level the rim will touch the wall and puts just enough pressure on the housing to make removing the lid a little hard. 4-1/2” would be ideal.
Question:	What are the size of the pellets? Mini or regular
Answer:	This again is misleading.. it’s 7-1/2” extended from the pump which housing which is already 7+ inches submerged into the tank. I’ve not measure the total length installed but my 110 is on a 44h corner hex which is if memory serves 28” tall. The intake with a small prefilter sponge on it is only a few inches from the bottom which is perfect. Wonthe soonge prefilter I would guess it’s around 6” or so off the substrate. That would give a total rim to bottom reach somewhere around 20” or so making it more then enough for most tanks.
Question:	Is this copper free food? I need food with low amounts of copper sulfate, because my bettas have snail tank mates

Answer:	Betta's stomach are about the size of their eyes. 2 to 3 pellets twice a day is the recommended feeding amount on most websites regarding Betta's as well as Aqueon's page. These shrimp are on average the size of a blood worm but maybe double the thickness - they almost seem unnaturally big for my Betta to want to eat. Not sure about frogs.

Answer:	I don’t see why not but this won’t make your betta happier like a plant will. I have “floaters” on the surface for my betta with no plants and she likes to “hide” under them. Maybe a floating decoration would help to make your betta happier.
