Answer:	No, it will not reach 8' and it has very little adjustability. For 8', try a PonicsPump PP80006 or PP80016. It will reach 8', but also has limited adjustability. To adjust the flow, you can use a ball valve on the output if needed.
Question:	How deep can the water be? Does it have to be below the power cord connection at a little over 2 inches high, or can it work in deeper water
Answer:	The key to the proper pump size depends on the rise needed...the distance from the pump to the top of the tubing. The tubing diameter will effect this lift distance...smaller the diameter, greater the lift. This pump is perfect for 18" to 24" lift with a 1/2" to 5/8" tube. It will easy lift to 3 feet with smaller tubing

Answer:	Highly recommend. I dry them in the late fall sun, then store indoors in a utility closet. I do not leave them in an outdoor storage area where the rubber seals would freeze all winter. Mine have lasted for ten years and counting.

Question:	What size tubing can I put
Answer:	See where it says "also bought" 1/2" tubing? I'm not the brightest bulb when it comes to plumbing, so I "also bought" 1/2" and I'm going to have to "also buy" something else because it is exactly the outer diameter of the small nozzle and much too loose to stay on the large nozzle. Like trying to fit one nickel inside another one. The trouble with buying things like this sight-unseen. Half inch INNER diameter tubing (5/8" outer) would work on the small nozzle but restricts flow somewhat. The large nozzle is (about, I don't own calipers) 7/16". Something tells me the nozzles are actually metric while the tubing is inches.
Question:	How do I do water changes with this
Answer:	There is a dial on the side that helps adjust the water flow rate, so you can control how much bubbles you want to produce.
Question:	What is minimum flow rate? I want to use for a trickle waterfall in a vivarium
Answer:	I don't know what that rate would be. But let me tell you that I put this pump in my outdoor fountain and I had to close the valve as far as it would go without turning it off, to keep it from shooting up too high and strong. My fountain was pushing water up at least 18 inches before it comes out. So this pump may be just too strong if you want something to trickle. I had a little 200 gal flow pump that was a little too weak at full strength. So something like that might work better for you.
Question:	Can this pump be able to be used to drain a hot tub
Answer:	Turn your garden hose on, put it into the bottom of the hot tub. Walk to the faucet and unscrew the garden hose while the water is still turned on. Turn off the faucet. The flow will reverse and your hot tub will empty with just a garden hose.

Answer:	When choosing a pump, try to figure out how much water you need (how many gallons per minute GPM),and how high the water has to climb ( vertical head) and the last thing to figure in is pipe size. Answer:	Yes, I believe it would. I have it in a 30" fiberglass (faux rock) fountain that is two tier. It's a very strong pump so I keep it toned down by closing the grid to some extent or the water will shoot up out of the back. It works very well and makes my Fountain sound more like a running stream over rocks that doesn't quit. Hope this helps.
Question:	is there a way to hook a filter to this pump. I see other pumps have a filter attached this does not seem to allow for one
Answer:	I wrap a mesh around the pump to prevent leaves and debris from clogging the pump. That works very well and it is an inexpensive method of protecting the pump. Whenever I the flow of water decreases, I hose the mesh and pump to remove anything stuck on the mesh.
Question:	how deep does the water have to be
Answer:	I use it in a 30 gallon trash barrel to mix salt water. Trash barrels are pretty deep and I still get a decent swirling on the top of the water.

Answer:	There are several options for filters: 1) In-pump filters are not recommended on any small pump such as ours. We used to make pumps with in-pump filters, but they clogged up too fast because they were small. This generated a lot of complaints, so we stopped manufacturing them. 2) Recycled Pantyhose Foot - Just put the pump inside and tie it off. This works when there is minor amounts of debris for pumps that are use with fountain heads. 3) Recycled Citrus Fruit Mesh Bag - Just put the pump inside and tie it off. Optionally, you can put a 4" wide perforated strip of milk jug plastic inside to keep the bag from clinging to the intake screen. 4) Pump filter bags - There are a variety of filter bags on Amazon. Answer:	If the bag is larger than your pump, it will work. If your pond is dirty with leaves and such, it will clog the bag and slow the pump. If your pond is clean, you should be in good shape.

Answer:	I think you mean the 25905, Decorative ReptoFilter. The pump that comes with that filter usually lasts many years with regular removal and cleaning of the impeller.
