| Answer: | I have all of the versions of the coralife super skimmers 65g, 125g, and 220g. I have found first off, they are good skimmers, they do need regular cleaning and maintenance, especially with salt buildup in the air line leading into the pump, salt builds up over time and slowly chokes off the air supply to the needle wheel impeller. I have found the the 65g does require cleaning a little more often than the other models. I hope this helps, clean out the pump, remove and scrub off the impeller being careful not to bend the needle wheel. |

| Answer: | As Tom Campbell said, get a 1/4 inch Barb Valve from Home Depot used for drip irrigation and zip tie it to an inch of the yellow hose you have to cut off. You can then regulate the airflow just like every other protein skimmer ever made. Horrible inexcusable design flaw. Valve costs less than 2 bucks. Also look into the output bubble filter thing they sell as an option. The first time I turned this thing on was a catastrophe. |

| Answer: | The lid for the right side of the skimmer has a air hose and silencer for the Venturi and on the lid it has a corner missing. That corner would be turned where the overflow pipe can slide in to the chamber. And it’s not a cup drain, it’s purely an overflow so if the cup isn’t changed the skimmate won’t run in the floor, it will overflow back in to the skimmer. |

| Answer: | While I do not have this model (I have the 160 and 180), you could attach a 1/2" tube to the output. There isn't a place to attach air line tubing. I place the pump near the surface of the water - angling the output tube to the water level - as that is how you get more oxygen into the tank -- the added surface movement. You might be able to find out more information about these pumps on the Hydor web site (I haven't looked). |

| Answer: | The skimmer has a fizzing noise (but mind you have been running it only for 5-6 weeks, some people say it goes quieter afterwards). Not an expert on skimmers as this is my first so dont know really how it compares to other skimmers. There is a slight gurgling sound (from mixing water and air) but the fizzing is what i would call noise. Tank is in my living room so not a problem for me really. Hope this helps |

This product includes 3 pieces of acrylic dividers for 20 gallon long fish tank. It does not come with fish tank. You will need to buy standard 20 gallon fish tank, and universal silicon glue from your local. Although the same tank manufacture claims the same dimensions for the same model for every batch, the actual inner size may be different from batch to batch. Take the sheet and try in store for the perfect one.
- It comes with 3 pieces of acrylic dividers for standard 20 gallon fish tank with width 12.5 inch, either tall or long 20 gallon size.
- It does not come with fish tank or silicon glue.
- The dividers will give the chamber heigth for most of the skimmers.
- The width of the acrylicy sheet is 11.8 inch / 300 mm.

| Answer: | This may be a little big. However, if the next size down is too little for your tank size, go w this model. Has an adjustable speed to control the amount of water going through. Make sure you have clearance height wise because you will need to empty the basin often. |
