Answer:	It is more like a lap strap, it has two pieces that go over the legs and the one through middle of the legs, you can loose or tighten them from the back of the chair so kids can't really mess with the straps and it opens by the press of a button but the button is really hard to mash. I use these in my daycare (I have 4 of them) and they work great. They are just the right height that you can take the tray off and push them up to a toddler table to use with older kids too.

To prepare for setup, rinse your gravel and decor with water, do not use soap or chemicals.

Find a flat place, preferably on a manufactured aquarium stand (for warranty purposes), where there are limited light and heat sources.

Add gravel, creating an upward slant to add depth.

Step 2:

Do not plug equipment in until water has been added.

Fill the tank with water, which has been dechlorinated with AquaSafe, to roughly 75%-90%.

To prepare for setup, rinse your gravel and decor with water, do not use soap or chemicals.

Find a flat place, preferably on a manufactured aquarium stand (for warranty purposes), where there are limited light and heat sources.

Do not plug equipment in until water has been added.

Fish added to tanks containing turtles, however, will most likely be eaten unless they can blend into the decor. Additionally, turtles are extremely dirty animals, and fish may not do well, health-wise, in a turtle tank.

Answer:	This is a GREAT question, Eduardo V.! I am so glad you asked, because it is all about the proper environment and care for the turtle! First, a turtle requires a minimum of 10 gallons of water for every inch of shell diameter. So a 5 inch turtle, for example, requires a tank with 50 gallons of water in it. Second, they require a partial water change of at least 25% (1/4) once a week. Third, they require a lot of filtration. The tank and filter pictured here, for example, is suitable for hatchling turtles up to about 2." in size. A hatchling is the diameter of a quarter to give you an idea. It's a great starter tank for baby turtles, and if you are diligent about care, can work for about a year to a year and a half. Adult turtles of 5" or more should be housed in tanks of 75 gallons or larger, with their water filtered by large canister filters. Algae accumulates due to an over abundance of waste. This can also be due to the diet that that is being fed. Turtles have nutritional needs, just like any other animal, and lettuce, hamburger, goldfish, etc., are not included in those needs. We clean it once a week and replace the charcoal bag once a month. The yearly cost for the filters is about 11.99. It has a nice waterfall effect to it. My daughter who changes her mind so many times a day is still in love with her glo fish tank. I hope this helps.

I ended up going to and aquarium/reptile store and order a 50 gallon special tank made for turtles were the filter is in a slot in the middle of the tank uses less water I can use my tank cove and my lights on top and it works get they were so knowledgeable and helped me out so much. I found my turtle yellow belly slider size of a quarter in my garage 3years ago he is now 9 inches long in a 50 gallon special tank designed for turtle with a much cheaper filter that word great and is very happy to have all the space. I have spent a fortune on many different filter. Only to find nothing worked until I went and got expert advice and now I spent less money on something that works great. Please do not purchase this filter like I said I bought two of them and both have been trashed.
