Answer:	Yes I have it running 9 sponge filters in 8 tanks. 3 40 breeders, 2 20 tall, 10 gallon, 2 5.5 gallons and I have 2 breeder boxes that is also spliced in that come off the lines to the 5.5 gallons. Works perfectly for my needs in that room.

Answer:	Sadly there is no control on this cheapie....I tie knots on the line (1 to 2 or 3) here and there and just tighten them till it's bubbling the way I want it. Works just fine. Answer:	I've never built a compost tea brewer, but you can't rate this as a gph device. (That is a myth regarding air pumps. They measure air and gases in "LPH" linear pressure per hour.) It is only a small air pump with low LPH. It can drive an airstone or a large sponge filter for a 10-gallon fish tank at the most. I doubt it could be used for your project since air pressure would not be great enough from its air stone to stir the materials. I got this because it was small and noise free. This product cannot be left outside in high or low temperatures either. You are going to need something closer to a true diaphragm or linear air pump for an aquarium which can move a lot more air for your project.

Answer:	It moves only a small amount of air. Okay for a small bubble wand. But the noise was very loud. I bought it because i wanted something small and quiet. Mine was anything but quite. Lasted one day and through it away. Was a waste of money.

Answer:	In order to use this filter for a turtle aquarium, your water level must stay ABOVE the minimum water level line at all times, which means it needs to be within 3-4 inches of the top of the tank. This is a problem with most turtle tanks unless you have a Turtle Topper. Otherwise, it will work well for a turtle tank.

Answer:	Yes, you sure could! You could use sponge media or filter floss. Just be sure to clean or replace it whenever it becomes clogged.

Answer:	Your initial purchase of the filter includes the Whisper Bio Bags ( 1 of them for the models 20, 30 and 45, 2 for the 70) and the Bio Scrubbers (again, 1 for the 20, 30, 45 models and 2 for the 70). You should replace your cartridges on a monthly basis, but can rinse them in between changes. The Bio Scrubbers should literally last forever, unless you lose them or damage them somehow. Wash these off in a bucket of tank water with a toothbrush.

Answer:	I've never been able to split more than 4 without running a commercial pump - those are very loud - we are talking 60 to 70 decibels, metal exterior with visible heat sinks, just so you know what we are looking at. However, I've run multiple tanks with just one of those pumps - basically a whole fish room with just one of those pumps. So if you are tired of chasing down multiple pumps and blah blah, it might be time to get a commercial pump. But they are loud (and powerful). I split maybe 15 off it, and just let the excess air flow out.

The third one is a 10W pump for air stone or filter etc cannot exceed 6 feet water depth; 5W cannot exceed 5 feet water depth.
