Directions for Use:

Step 1: Turn the knob at anti-clockwise direction, then remove the bottom cover and take out the air tube and air stone from inside of the Air Pump.

Step 2: Insert 2 D cell batteries into the Air Pump with the correct polarity.

Step 3: Match the bottom cover to the Air Pump body. Then tighten the knob at clockwise direction.

Step 4: Connect the air pump with the air tube and air stone, then press the “Switch” button to start the air pump.

Be careful:

1. Place the oxygen pump above the water surface of the aquarium. If the air pump is below the water surface, a check valve needs to be installed. If installing the check valve, cut at least 2 inches of hose from the air hose and install the check valve in the direction of air inlet and outlet. Check valve is marked with out direction:out. Refer to pictures 3 and 5.

2. After using the air pump for a period of time, the air filter cotton will accumulate dust. Please clean it regularly to avoid affecting the air output.

Question:	Can this be used with an oxygen mask for human usage
Answer:	I assume so, but this device doesn’t produce oxygen. It grabs air from outside and pumps it through a hose/aerator stone. If planning to use this device to help with mask wearing for current COVID conditions I wouldn’t recommend. The device doesn’t filter the air it pumps either. So it would be the same as if you didn’t have a mask on.

Answer:	It takes 6-8 hours for this aquarium aerator to be fully charged.After fully charged, when you turn on the air pump, all four indicator lights will be on.

Question:	would it be too much air for a 1 gallon tank
Answer:	Depending on the depth of the tank. What I would do is buy one of those "gang valve" so that you can regulate the amount of air bubbles entering into the water.
Question:	How long does it run on one D battery
Answer:	Not sure as we used two D batteries due its need to be more bubbling. By only using one D battery, you will decrease the amount of bubbles in half due to having only half the power. We have only used this item when we've had power outages. Our latest power outage lasted almost 3 days. Hope this helps.
