Answer:	I live in Georgia but I leave mine out all year long. I have a large clay pot that we layed down that we placed the motor inside to keep it from the elements. The outside seems to be waterproof but we didn't want to take any chances. I purchased it in June 2016.

Answer:	There is a light but it isnt visible when 8n the water.

Answer:	Should work fine. The fountain height is adjustable, fully extended should stick up above surface. Use 2 in my pond one as fountain on one side, the other as a prefilter on the other end to feed an additional external filter and return water down a small waterfall. 18’ diameter pond 36” deep with 2 many fish, frogs, and visiting ducks. Answer:	You can order the replacement bulbs on Amazon or get them locally at Lowe’s. I’ve been using this UV clarifier for 4 years now and love it, and get my bulbs at both places. Average price is about $12-$13
Question:	There is a small light on the end of the container. Does that tell if the light is actually working or not? Mine has never been lit
Answer:	Yes, it tells you it is on. However, you will not be able to see it during the day. Wait until night. If your bulb is installed correctly, then you will not only see the blue light on the end, but the in-flow tube will also be lit up. Make sure you also remove the plastic piece on the end of the light bulb, I didn't and it melted and burnt up my bulb. If the housing isn't screwed on correctly, the light won't come on. Its a safety feature. Check the light after dark, and then check to make sure the bulb is plugged in all the way and then that the in and out valves are on correctly and level. Hope this helps.
Question:	Can I use my pump that has a power of more than 560 gph? Mine is 800gph
Answer:	My pump is 1000 GPH and I use it with no problem, so you should be okay.

Answer:	Others have said that this is an above water unit, but it comes with a seal - I have had mine underwater for about a year with no leaks. Like others said though, it floats, so you have to weigh it down.

Answer:	This type of pump is not rated in psi, but in gpm (gallons per minute) The only pumps* that I know of that are rated in psi are in a pump system that is specifically designed to increase water pressure.

Answer:	It does have an intake valve, but you have to cut part of the plastic end off (and thus voiding the warranty) to access it. I did this - though to attach a UV filter, not a hose. I didn't have a dremel, but it would have made it a lot easier to make that cut. There's probably a better pump you don't have to do this for. When this one goes on me, I'll find one I don't have to modify.
Question:	What size fountain attachment can work with this
Answer:	Your question is a little vague... are you asking what size tubing you can attach? Or are you asking how high the pump will lift the water? It connects to 2inch inner diameter pipe on the outlet, and on the intake as well if you desire. I personally left the screen on the intake side and put an adapter on the outlet side and connected 3" pipe. The pump specs say it will lift 26feet high. I have about 35feet of 3inch pipe going to a Y, where it splits into 2 waterfalls.

Answer:	I use this pump to circulate water from a bottom pond (2000 gallons) to a top pond (900 gallons) for a waterfall. The water is pushed through 30 feet of 1.5 inch tubing up an incline of 5 feet. This pump circulates our water volume very well.
Question:	Does this have a threaded intake to allow connection of solid PVC pipe
Answer:	hello....I am presently far away from the pump (Az) in Europe and will not return back to Az before the end of August...sorry! Yet, I seem to recall that it did not have a threaded intake and I hooked it up to the PVC pipe with a short flex and clamps....hope it helps! I believe you meant "outtake" and not "intake" since the "intake" (where it "takes" the water in) is located underneath the pump itself, no hose, no pipe?
Question:	CAN YOU USE ONE INCH TUBING
Answer:	You can use any size tubing with the proper adapters however one must remember that using a small diameter tubing will increase the resistance and turbulence through the tube thus greatly reducing its flow capacity (its a logarithmic function). These types of pumps can handle high resistance on the output side however not at the input end so hopefully you are only referring to choking down the output and are willing to sacrifice the huge drop in flow as a result (note: expect a large pressure increase, similar to putting your thumb over the end of a water hose).

Answer:	Hi Steve, the gph of any pump depends on the head pressure working against it. The Cyclone PAL3100 pumps 3100 gph at zero head. It pumps 2,251 gph at 5' of head, 1390 at 10' of head and 479 gph at 15' of head (according to the manufacturers literature). Head is roughly calculated by adding three things together, 1' of head for every foot of height from the surface of the pond to the highest point that the water will be pumped (if you could measure it straight up), another 1' of head for every 10' of tubing length, and another 1' for every sharp turn or obstacle like a UV unit or a 90 degree elbow). I am running mine in a tank with anti-freeze in it.If you know anything about anti-freeze and plastics, it tends to get thru any low quality seal. I have had no problems in that area. Tank seals leak, but not the pump.Hope this helps.

Answer:	There is no built in water flow adjustment on the 950 pump. You will have to install a ball valve or some other flow control valve to control the water flow.

Question:	My pump stopped working and when i pulled it out it started smoking. what do i do?it dosent turn on at all
Answer:	Return it to the manufacturer. I've purchase two of these pumps and they worked for a few weeks then they stopped. They were replaced but the replacements only lasted a few weeks. I have a smaller one that I purchased as a backup for when I purchase new kois, don't know if that is still coming on. I think that there is a serious problem with these pumps I would definitely never purchase these again

Answer:	No. The liner is 10x13. So it would make a 3 ft deep pond 4'x7' (roughly).

Answer:	When I bought this product it was advertised as being 20 mil thick. The package that arrived was 14.5 mil. It was adequate for the intended use and fairly priced, so I didn't complain. They have since modified the product description to accurately show the thickness as 14.5 mil. In case you find it useful, 14.5 mil is equal to .0145 inches or .3683 mm; roughly as thick as 4 sheets of standard 20-lb. printer paper.

Answer:	I've have been using cycle pumps for over a year now and have had very good service from them in our pond I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, the only problem I've had was the filter cage will not stay attached to the pump body I attached it to the body with some screws. Power efficiency is exceptional and the 33ft cord is a plus when using the pump in a 50ft pond.
