Answer:	It mostly depends on algae growth and calcium in the water, but I change mine every month, by then the air pump is pushing pretty hard to get the air through.You can poke new holes with a needle, but I don't bother now, I bought 100 and just put new ones in monthly.

Answer:	You should be able to use a splitter to split the air supply or you can get an air-flow regulator put in the airline to the filter to reduce the bubble size and water current.

Answer:	It depends on the makeup chemically of the water that you are using. then it depends on the cleanliness of the water which depends on the type of filtration you have, and how often you change filtration. With the systems of filtration and 10% water changes every 60 days, my air stones usually last for 3 to 4 months. I can always tell when they begin to get dirty, the airflow (bubbles) begin to diminish. If you watch your air lift tubes you can tell this very easily

Answer:	It pulls air in the unit directly and a secondary intake tube wouldn't really be possible. You could add a "Y" connector for two output hoses. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I would get 3 or 4 maybe even 5 for your 120 gal. The air stone that comes with it is only about the size of a quarter. I have never tried it on a larger stone but my guess is it will not power anything larger then the stone that comes with it. The power cord that comes with it is only about 2 feet long so plan to run a cord to near the top of your tank. The air line is also about 2-3 feet long. This pump only turns on when the power goes out. The number you buy would also depend on what your stocking levels are too. If you already have a large air system on your tank you could also buy a UPS battery backup. (Price for a decent long lasting one is about $189)Hope that helps you.

Answer:	Living in the Northeast we get some crazy weather. This pump should be used as a back-up. It will turn on when the power goes off as you need to plug it in the outlet next to the tank. And yes it does only work on the batteries...hence a battery back-up pump if you lose power. The electrical plug is a sensor that will sense when the power cuts off. It is very powerful and gets the job done. My fish love to swim in and out of the currents it makes!

Answer:	Hey Kristy, Thanks for your question. The white stuff you're seeing is just dust particles from the filter media. It won't have any negative effect on your tank. Just let it continue to cycle and all of the particles will be picked back up by the filter.

Answer:	I use my PennPlax in a 5 gallon tank with a betta and it works great. I do partial water changes every 2 weeks. Are you asking if it works with a tank that hold 1/2 gallon? (0.5) If so, I would say NO. It is too strong for such a small space. Also, betta's should be kept in a MINIMUM 2.5; but 5 gal. or more is optimal, with heater and filter.
