This light is not listed as one of the compatible LED lights in their ramp timer section: https://current-usa.com/aquarium-ramp-timers/ So no, it's not officially compatible. The ClassicLED Plus light doesn't give direct control to the LEDs so direct color control is not possible without some bridging and soldering. Color control isn't possible either. Dimming would also take a good amount of electronics work. On/Off and night time modes are the only ones possible out of the box. Compared to the $190 USD for the Current-USA model, this one is worth the price so far. Nicrew does offer a Single Channel Timer that would allow for a ramp up and ramp down so you can simulate sunrise and sunset. 24 HOUR AUTO CYCLE

In default auto cycle, you can use daylight and moonlight option to create your own custom 24 hours light cycle, altering auto on /off time, adjusting light color and intensity for moonlight option.

Preset lighting auto turns on at 6:30 AM and auto turn off at 11:30 PM. The light can be set to turn on and off at the designated time which allows your fish get some rest at night.

FINE TUNE LIGHTING

Answer:	Personally I think all of the lights should be turned off at night. I use the blue light on occasion but it’s still fairly bright. The brightness of the white light and the spectrum made black hair algae grow like crazy in my tank so I used my timer to shut it off for several hours during the day.

I love that I can bring the lights on dim first 3 hours, then lighter, then full on, then dimmer, then off so I don't startle my fish, LOL. I also like that you can adjust the number of white, red, green and blue led bulbs that come on, so you can have a reddish, bluish, or greenish hue to the lighting at beginning or end of your day, then full brightness for two 3-hour periods (6 hours total for live plants).

Answer:	Well it should grow plants, but might be too bright. Don't know much about geckos. There's no dimmer either, and I assume you want a light source that creates heat.

Answer:	As far a thickness yes. The clip goes on the left side of the tank though. So it might interfere with the filtration pad. That would be my only concern.

Question:	I have a rimless 5g with mostly low light plants. Can this light be added without needing to add co2 and still not get algae
Answer:	I do not know about the CO2. I have the light on a 10 gallon, and only get algae if the light is on more than 9-11 hours per day. I added a UV light filter and sakura shrimp and a few snails to help keep algae under control. I only run the UV filter a few hours per day, and it seems enough to get the job done.

Answer:	You may be thinking the 15 value is amps, it is watts. The current the light uses at 15 watts at 120 volts equates to 0.125 amps. 15W / 120V = 0.125 Amps

Answer:	I use one but my plants are swords. They are pretty tough and can live in almost any condition. My light fixture is on a medium setting (White and Blue Lights) and it puts out a lot of light.
Question:	Can you use a regular timer purchased at a retail store or must you use theirs
Answer:	You can use any timer. The included controller remembers how you had the light set (blue and white levels) when the power was turned off. If you want to simulate daylight (sunrise, sun overhead, sunset, and moonlight), then you will want to use their 2 channel controller.

Answer:	I'm using it on a 3.5 gallon tank and can grow hornwort, java fern, and subwassertang just fine. You can most definitely grow things like crypts, sag, and most other low-medium light demand plants depending on the height of your tank and what other supplements you use (CO2, ferts, substrate, etc). Probably wouldn't use this on a tank much larger than 7 gallons, depending on the tank dimensions, unless you get multiple lights.
