This light is not listed as one of the compatible LED lights in their ramp timer section: https://current-usa.com/aquarium-ramp-timers/ So no, it's not officially compatible. The ClassicLED Plus light doesn't give direct control to the LEDs so direct color control is not possible without some bridging and soldering. Color control isn't possible either. Dimming would also take a good amount of electronics work. On/Off and night time modes are the only ones possible out of the box. Compared to the $190 USD for the Current-USA model, this one is worth the price so far. Nicrew does offer a Single Channel Timer that would allow for a ramp up and ramp down so you can simulate sunrise and sunset. Answer:	For A Saltwater setup...(i.e.) a 30 gallon BioCube it would be enough light output for corals, which require a high power light source. However if your 27 gallon aquarium you are referring to, is freshwater, than it's plenty of light and for a price you will not find any cheaper elsewhere. Hope this helps answer your question.

Answer:	I have mine for around 6 months on open water. I have co2 and air stone (at night) which splashes water on the led. There is plexi glass covering the led, so water splashes may fog up the plexi glass. Other than that so far so good.

Answer:	For low-light plants, yes. Currently growing well in my tank are: anubias nana, anubias congensis, and staurogyne repens. The setup is a 10g nana tank with this as the main lighting source. I did buy the timer to go along with this unit. Currently setup has a 100% light on for 8 hours a day, and 70% light 4 hours a day (2 hours before the long period and 2 hours afterwards); then I have it reduced to 5% light for the periods of early morning and evening so I can enjoy the tank but minimize light. I am supplementing with liquid CO2 and fertilzer. Is it the best out there? No. Will it grow plants? It seems to be doing well in this tank. The only thing I wish this light did have would be some red. Then I would give it a 5 star rating for its price category.

Answer:	I don't remember and I don't have the package info anymore. Although I can tell you that I use it in my 29 gallon tank and it's a very sufficient amount of white light. Probably enough lumen to supply up to a 40 gallon tank. The blue night mode is very dim and tranquil.

Question:	Would this be sufficient for a 20 gal planted tank
Answer:	Hi there. I have mine for a 40 gallon tank and it seems like enough light. I would think it should be sufficient for your 20 gallon tank.
Question:	Power supply seems to be 110v but it is described as a 220 volts input. Which is it? Can it be submerged into a pool for sanitation
Answer:	The little "wall-wort" power supply will work with ether 110 OR 220 as will many switching power supplies. "Submerged into a pool?" The light bar; YES as it is fed 12 volts (class 2 low voltage) and appears to be pretty well sealed. The power supply: NO!!! High voltage and water together is what engineers refer to as a "BAD IDEA" and could change your plans for a future.
Question:	Could this be used in a betta tank
Answer:	As long as it is underwater it should work. Keep in mind that it is a bright light, I have mine pointed down. I do not think you would enjoy look directly at the LED.
Question:	Does it have a switch?. Can it be used outside the tank
