Answer:	I have used it to skim the surface of an outdoor pond and it works well. I think it would work fine filtering dirt and debris but it is not made for heavy duty work. Filtering aquarium gravel would be fine but digging in dirt would probably be too rough.

Answer:	The fish cycle is bacteria breaks down ammonia into nitrite. Then again into nitrate. Once it gets to nitrate either a water change or plant's are needed to remove it. While this will provide space for the bacteria to grow, its primary function is getting rid of particles.

Incredibly Simple to Set Up - here's a few pointers

1) Remove the plastic bumper from filter column. Rinse biological media and carbon pouch. Then, insert the biological media and carbon pouch into the rear section of the filter column.

2) Attach downstem to filter pump. Slowly lower downstem and filter pump into the front section of the filter column. Place elbow of downstem through porthole located on the pane of glass that divides the sections of your filter column.

3) Snake the wire of the waterfall pump through the opening in the bottom of the front section of the filter column. Feed the wire up through the column, removing any slack. Attach the tube on the waterfall resin to the water pump.

4) Place top section of waterfall onto base. Add gravel to the front and rear sections of the AquaTerrium. Add water to the rear section. When water begins flowing into the front section through the overflow outlet located at the top right of the front wall, add water to the front section leaving about 2” of space.

5) Reattach the plastic bumper to the side wall of the filter column. Slide filter column cover into the groove of the plastic bumper. Next, place the lid on top of the rear section of the AquaTerrium. Be sure to place the lid on with the beveled side over the filter column.

6) Plug filter pump cord into power source. Be sure to create a drip loop.

Answer:	This light will be more than adequate for your nano. I'm using it on a 15gal. column tank which is 20" tall. I too am setting up the tank to grow sps corals.You'll probably have to lower the light intensity so as not to burn your coral specimens. Good luck!

Answer:	It will, after a year with this light i personally have buyers remorse. If you’re just keeping mushrooms and some zoas it might serve you well. It’s just not as powerful as I’d hoped from kessil. After buying the light and controller for around $250, I could’ve gotten an AI prime with a mount for less money and had better results with a more powerful more controllable light. I will be upgrading personally.

If so I think it would be hard to get the spread you would need but if you’re not worried about spread where ever you have the light it will grow what you’re wanting vey well in the shallow tank.
