Answer:	It is designed by Vornado Inc. in andover Kansas, but made in China. We had these in several offices, and ran them 8 hours a day for years- great quality and efficiency.
Question:	the fan stopped spinning but the light is on,how to fix
Answer:	Recently I noticed my Vornado would turn on, with indicator LED and you could hear the unit trip on when you turn the dial, but with no fan or heat. All I had to do was blast around inside with some compressed air, it fired right back up. I'm assuming accumulated dust/gunk was preventing a circuit from completing. I've owned it a few years and this is the only problem I've ever had, and it was due to my lack of maintenance/cleaning.
Question:	I have previously used tower space heaters. With this heater, what does each setting equate to? I want to set the temperature to 73 degrees
Answer:	Controlling room temperature when the thermostat is within the heater like all space heaters I have ever seen is just a rough idea and is much harder when it is very cold on the other side of the wall from the room you are heating. It probably will not work well unless the thermostat is on the other side of the room away from any cold walls. If you want precise control for the entire room at 73 degrees, you will need either a ceiling fan or a strong high volume air cleaner to constantly and rapidly circulate the air. Or a space heater with a 20 inch fan running on medium speed. Even under those good conditions, the thermostat in most space heaters will only hold the temperature with a degree or two. A space heater with electronic temperature regulation should do better, but when you have real electronics, it should be plugged into a surge protector. And if the surge protector has a cord, the cord needs to be 12-gauge if the cord is long or 14-gauge wire if the cord is short. Never plug a space heater into a typical 16-gauge extension cord as the extension cord will likely get hot and melt and start a fire. As always, electric space heaters are very inefficient and costly way to heat compared to a good Mitsubishi or Fujitsu mini-split electric heat pump, but they are very cheap to buy and are a very cheap short term solution. Space heaters cost at least 4 times as much in utility bills as a natural gas furnace and 2 times as much as a propane furnace for the heating of the same amount of square feet. The monthly utility bill for a high quality heat pump typically falls between the price of natural gas and propane and if you live in a place where you don't use a lot of heat in winter, heat pumps can win even over natural gas. That means, you can heat at least 4 identical sized rooms with natural gas for the price of one room with a cheap electric space heater. Space heaters shine when you just want extra heat in one room for a few hours each day. If not calling for heat, that is, fan only, the cost is often less than half a penny per hour. But some do a better job of circulating the air or radiating the heat around the room then others and that and perceived quality are the main things that drive the price and ratings. A ceiling fan in the same room will negate much of the difference in circulating air between one heater and another. I especially like this product because it has 3 heat settings instead of 2 as I generally like the room to heat very slowly and constantly, but when it is cold outdoors or indoors, then I need higher settings to achieve the same result. Answer:	- I got mine in May 2016, and it still is strong! Its motor actually has the same HP rating as those of several larger and more expensive units. Frankly, I think it's as strong as my M***e ((name masked for obvious legal reasons, LOL!)) - of course, I do check and clean the seal fairly regularly, and I use it with a "pre-fliter" ((explained below)) plus a bag inside the vacuum itself, rather than relying solely on the included cloth filter since I use it inside the house as a dust-collector for my "creative activities" - which basically means, my hobby of making sawdust ;). But I *have* accidentally picked up some fairly heavy items with it, such as bolts and large steel nuts. The main thing is that it doesn't include a motor-speed controller. I have not tried plugging it into an external controller because, whether I'm using it for hobby-stuff-dust-collection, or, due to it's light weight, using it to do household vacuuming, I *want* it on Full. If I want an adjustable-speed vacuum, or want to use the floor attachment(s), I use the M***e. - Both the inner bag-holder and the pre-filter are "hacks" I dreamed up - I use super-filtering bags in my M***e that remove particles as fine as smoke. But they are loose if just slipped over the port inside the vacuum's body. The hack? Layers of heavy/thick rubber bands - the suction pulls the bag against the "bump" and that both keeps it from slipping off, and also improves the seal between the edge of the bag hole, and the port. --- The "pre-filter" is 2 coffee cans, one stacked on top of the other; the lid of the bottom one has a hole with an emptied cylindrical prescription bottle which is adapted to hold onto the bag and the air is spun by a jury-rigged funnel which opens into the bag; on the other side of the bottom lid, there's a a hole that lets air be pulled out ((to create the suction)). The bottom lid has a ridge on it onto which the top coffee can "nests". Duct tape goes around that part to both seal it, and hold the upper can in place. The hacked-funnel-air-spinner-widget is inside the top can, and the end of a used heavy-duty CPAP hose runs from that collector part to the scroll saw port or whatever tool or hacked "grinding cabinet", etc. I'm using. There is a second hole in the lid of the top can that I deliberately made smallish, and forced the end of the Shop-Vac hose into that, so it seals pretty well. - ANYHOO, the end result is that the motor does not get clogged with fine dust particles that would sneak past, or through, the included cloth filter. - So that has kept it operating pretty well, even when I run it for very long ((1 to 2 hours, occasionally more)) periods of time. - I can't say anything about vacuuming-up water/liquids, though, because I've used my Floor Mate for that. - I bought mine from Amazon Warehouse Deals as a "used" item, BTW, and it's been excellent. - I *have* observed a phenomenon on Amazon where identical items will receive different ratings when one vendor is charging a higher price than another. That's one of the things one needs to watch out for when reading reviews. - I hope that helps! :)
Question:	If I want to use this in my car with a power inverter, what wattage inverter do I need? I can't find any info on the power draw in the description
Answer:	Just to clarify A Newman's contradiction of my answer, if you read his entire statement, he is actually referring to using a cig lighter for transferring the power, however, I was assuming the inverter would be connected directly to the battery, I figured this would be obvious. and of course in doing so, you are not going to "fry" your car's wiring system. to further clarify, hp is a poor measurement and not properly understood, the 1.5 hp 1 gallon vac actually draws 5 amps. I don't feel it would be any problem to connect your inverter directly to the battery, you simply life the hood and attach the cables....LOL., and if you are vacuuming your car, just how difficult is that. The 1 gallon shop vac will do a hell of a lot better job than any cig lighter vac that they sell for 20 to 50 dollars, those vac are useless. so you would be drawing 600 watts, which the 1000 inverter can handle, and most 1000 watt inverters have a peak wattage for start up of at least 1500 if not 2000 watts. Most 250 watt and above inverters tell you in the directions to connect directly to the battery and supply you with cables to do so, that's why I assumed the questionnaire would know this. Now in using a larger shop vac, you would of course need a much larger inverter. but my answer was in regard to using a 1.5 hp 1 gallon shop vac. so thank you for your indulgence.

How Does It Work?

A sponge filter uses bubbles of air from an external air pump, or an integral water pump to draw water through the sponge.

As water is drawn out through the lift tube or pump, it is replaced by water entering the sponge.

The surface of all the bubbles or pockets in the sponge provides a bed for the bacteria of a biological filter.

The bacteria help to break down harmful waste (ammonia and nitrite).

What Maintenance Does It Require?

The sponge will need to be rinsed every time it becomes dirty, about once every 2 to 4 weeks.

Answer:	The polisher uses an Aqueon Large Cartridge which should be replaced monthly. In the canister itself most of the media does not get replaced. The bottom tray is biological (bio balls and ceramic pieces) which unless there is physical damage do not get replaced. The top tray is a course media sponge which should be rinsed out and put back in and the middle is the charcoal which does need to be replaced no less than once a quarter. All of these replacement items are available from Aqueon. How to adjust temperature:

There is a regulator connect with power cord, just press the button after heater has been installed,

and you can will see the LED display shows °F，

press the button until you see the display shows your expecting temperature (display 59~93℉ in cycle by),

and then leave it for heating up.

For example:

Expecting temperature is : 80℉ Heater display shows: 70℉ Then, Press the regulator 10 times,

then you will see the display shows from 70 to 80°F.

When you see the display shows 80°F，

Question:	does it turn off when it is at the chosen temperature
Answer:	Firstly,you need to set the temperature.If you set at 78,if the water in the tank is lower than the setting,the heater will be heated, the red light is on. After heating,the water in the tank up to the temperature of the setting,the heater won’t heat up, the red light is off. So don't worry about the light shock. If there is any problem,feel free to contact me .
Question:	Is the black plastic bumper at the bottom supposed to stay on when using heater or is it supposed to be remover before turning heater on

Question:	Can i use this on a circular aquarium? Will the suction cups hold to a circular tank
Answer:	I don't see any issue of mounting this unit in a circular shaped tank. One major issue is to make sure that the unit is totally submerged preventing it from burning out. There is a line on it stating it must be below water. Do this... and it will last.
Question:	What is the actual length of the 50W heater itself, not the cord
