Answer:	No freshwater only
Question:	Are these not low-light plants? Mine turned completely translucent after a few days, the leaves are thinner than cellophane tape. Is this melting
Answer:	Yes, what you saw was melting, this is normal when introducing plants to a new tank, sometime aggressive trimming of the roots or replanting may also cause this. The plant typically comes back from this fine but may be a bit shorter and will need time to get back to original height. Most sword plants are grown emersed (out of water) for faster growth and production when being sold like this. The emersed growth leaves are not capable of living submerged(under water) and the plant goes through a phase where it has to adapt growing new under water leaves while shedding the air breathing leaves.
Question:	Will this live and thrive in a gravel substrate with about 2-3 inch thickness
Answer:	Yes it will. Have had to trim it often.

Answer:	I allowed the plant to adjust to the water for a couple of days in its original pot and then planted in the gravel. It rooted very well, initially lost some leaves but since then has grown new ones.

Answer:	Yes, it is okay to put it there. However, Koi fish is known for messing around with the substrate of their environment. They may not stay in place if that happens.

Sure enough, the ones I didn't scrub off turned in to new java fern plants! Let them grow a bit (they will develop leaves and roots) and then gently pull them off and plant them. Congrats!

Question:	Will they grow in a tank with Tiny rocks as a base
Answer:	The rhizome can’t be buried so don’t bury them. What I do is drop them into the tank... either you glue it to a pc of wood or rock and drop it on. It’ll sit ontop ok? Of your rocks or gravel..... then you add liquid fertilizer into the water to feed them .... 1x a week. And they need light also. And they’ll be ok. Mine got too much loght and turned brown tho. But they will be ok if you do it right.

Answer:	They can survive cold-water tanks, ( as low as 60s°F) and I would think they would be okay to be shipped with temps in the 40s° F. But I wouldn't count on them surviving being shipped in winter temperatures below freezing, unless the seller ships with insulation and heat packs.

Question:	Do you have to use a plant a fully grown plant? Or can you plant/grow seeds and then put the growing roots in the holes
Answer:	My son use a fully grown plant . He bought small Peace Lily then he took all soil off and washed the roots before put the root in the hole.

Answer:	No but... they eat the build up on the roots doesn't hurt the plant or fish BUT...does say need to feed protein pellets as well. Hardest part for me was getting the roots through the holes.

Answer:	if you look up aquaponics you will find more information about what types of plants can be grown. We are growing herbs and a bamboo stem. In order for the plan or herbs to be grown they have to be already growing with roots so the roots can be immersed in the water

Answer:	No. Ghost/glass catfish are schooling fish and need to be kept in groups of six or more to avoid stress death. You'll need to look for a 30+ gallon to humanely care for them. A mere half gallon like this isn't suitable for ANY fish, let alone a schooling species.

Question:	Is this plant silk? Need soft plants for my betta tank
Answer:	Regular Treated Water just like you do when you add water to your Aquarium. I would recommend 24 hours but 12 is probably fine.

Answer:	It is vibrant green. Very pretty in my 72 gallon tank.

Answer:	Its just 25 gph which is perfect. The lower the water flow the better for betta.

Answer:	No more than 3" tops. It's a nice, very small foreground type of plant.

Answer:	We have 3 different plants and there are about 10-12 leaves on ours. We really like them and the bettas love them.

Answer:	This is a plastic plant and it adds to the aquarium - it gives it a little color. It stays put - does not float! It is a low "front" plant and is quite thick. It is a plant I would always like to have and I have quite a collection! I see some have called this a silk plant - plastic is quite different from silk. I prefer plastic and that is what I look for.

Answer:	Should have a suction cup.
Question:	Does the leaf have a metal wire inside supporting it
Answer:	No it doesn't... my betta actually likes it I catch him resting on the leaf a lot:)
Question:	how big is it
Answer:	Big enough for a betta. I would say about 2 1/2 to 3ish inches length and 1 1/2 to 2ish inches width. My Betta liked to "sit" on it.
Question:	Is the suction cup on this brand/model better than the one made by Zoo Med Laboratories? The one from Zoo Med stops sticking after a while
Answer:	I haven't had a problem with the suction and I've had it for about a year. The only thing is the leaf would fall off of the suction part so I had to superglew it in.
