Answer:	They seem to be sending people different items. I just received mine today. It was supposed to be 15" long and it was 12" I thought the tubing would be 5/8" it was 3/8" OD. The tubing length was just over 6ft. So mine was not as advertised. Or they sent me the wrong one.

Answer:	Yes, you’ll have to make sure that you purchase a hose with the same diameter, then you’ll need a smaller piece of tubing to use to splice the two together. I’d recommend a 3/8, to a 1/4” diameter piece of plastic tubing, something that’ll fit into the two pieces of tubing so as to join them.
Question:	I have a 55 gallon tank will it work for that size tank
Answer:	We suggest that you should choose a bigger version than this. 1. It will take too much time to drain 350 gal water. (Drain Flow Rate: 0.74-1.2gal/min) 2. Please refer to 6th picture.
