Answer:	Yes! The pouch can be worn on the front or the back. The most important aspect of fit to avoid bouncing is making sure that it sits secure on your natural waist line. It can be worn on the hips for less vigorous walks/exercise, but when running or hiking we always recommend wearing tight on the waist for the most secure fit.

I have walked both of my dogs by latching both their leash and my other dogs normal leash onto the belt and it works great. The length of this leash is just about perfect for my 60 pound German Wirehaired pointer with a harness on. I think it would be a little too short if used with a normal collar though.
