Question:	What contacts should I order for a german shepherd? To penetrate the long hair
Answer:	Looks like K9 400 collar might be the best. I have a boxer with short hair so the contacts that came with the mini educator were fine. I think if you have the right fit, it would work as well. Burrow it down to the skin level, obviously not too tight. The K9 400 model is for training tactical dogs like German Shepherds
Question:	Will the ET-302TS work well for bigger dogs around 50-60 pounds
Answer:	Yes! My dog is around 25 lbs and I cut about 10 inches off of the adjustable collar-almost enough to make another collar. I have only had to use the correction levels up to 26, so there are plenty of levels higher for those bigger or more stubborn dogs. I've been working with a dog trainer to help me give the correction at the right time and used a leash for the first 3 weeks. Using the leash helped me guide my dog into the preferred behavior immediately after the correction so she was not confused as to why she was just corrected. It has completely transformed my dog's behavior and I'm very pleased with the product. If this is your fist electronic collar please make sure you get some tips or work with a trainer. If you do not guide your dog into the behavior you want you will get a very anxious dog afraid to move or do anything. That was my only complaint with this product-in needed some tips for newbies like me. You will love your "new" dog!
Question:	When used properly as a training tool, can you eventually get to the point where the dog no longer needs to wear the collar
Answer:	The answer to that depends specifically on your dog and the training you've done.I have a scent/sight hound and I would never trust him without any tools. He can tell when he has on a shock collar vs a buckle collar vs a choke chain vs a martingale collar. He listens perfectly off leash with this ecollar (I only have to use the vibrate function to remind him sometimes) but I know that if I put him out with a different style of collar and no leash that he would not listen nearly as well (and he might run off into a potentially dangerous situation).

Answer:	Yes, although described as a "mini" this e-collar will work for most dogs if used correctly. You might need to shave a small patch for the collar to make contact. If you haven't done so, please watch the leerburg videos on using the e-collar, particularly the one by Micheal Ellis. The dog needs to learn behavior that stops the stimulation. If introduced correctly, i.e., the dog learns that he has control of the stimulation, the e-collar works for most dogs. Question:	Does this collar work with and without the remote
Answer:	Mine has never blown off. I would try wrapping tape around the inside rim of the lid to make it tighter.
Question:	Does this product come with proper training directions? I keep reading that they only work if used properly
Answer:	The top can be removed and used as a garbage can but it is rather small for that. I’d say probably a 3.5 gal bag would be long enough. We use our fireplug as a decoration in the fenced yard for our small dogs.
Question:	does this collar go into a low power state if the dog doesn't move for a while or is it always on
Answer:	Well a little larger than the size you order !
Question:	Does it works at 220 v
Answer:	Dont know but I personally wouldn't recommend washing. My puppy only used it in her crate. We would take it out and wash it with a water hose for the week we used it.

Question:	i've got 2 collars, (older ones) fr-200b & fr-200a, will they work with this system? i had them with a sd-800 system, but transmitter went bad
Answer:	If they're both pups, then maybe?? I'm not sure what size a husky puppy is. We have a 20-pound dog who grew up using this pad when necessary. He's full-grown now (at 20 pounds), and uses it very neatly, maybe once a day. (When we're gone for a full day of work.) Using it once/day with his size means we clean it about once every 5-7 days. So if your husky is under 20 pounds, I'd say it'd be okay as long as you have a chance to rinse it out when needed.
Question:	Does it come with rechargeable batteries and a charger
Answer:	You can order them on line or your local pet store. I find those to be expensive. I go to Lowe’s or HomeDepot and buy artificial grass by the yard
Question:	Expandable up to 6 dogs? Can you shock them all from the same remote? Cannot find any info on this
Answer:	I did not notice a red mark on mine, and I installed mine in a way that allowed the wire point toward the rear. I don't believe it's segmented and calibrated for individual strings, it's a single piece designed to pick up ALL frequencies simultaneously. It works beautifully on my 3D printed violin.
Question:	How do you get the vibration only mode to work? I don't need to use stimulation, only the vibration for a deaf dog. Thank you
Answer:	Mine has a thin black rubber pad (harder than foam) on the bottom of the round microphone, and I have not experienced distortion. I find the best fidelity by clipping it in the bottom F sound hole (one nearest the E string) and in the end of the hole nearest the tail piece.

Question:	Does the light on the collar stay on all the time or can you shut it off
Answer:	With the sump pump assembled in place and the voltage coofirmed you can usually energize the float switch by manually lifting the float switch tab on the side of the housing. The pump will start. As a side note the float switch typically becomes coated with bilge oils and sticks requiring cleaning.
Question:	I have two Chihuahuas both under 5 pounds each will it fit and work with them
Answer:	You can get a similar 0-ring at a hardware store. Just take the old one in with you.
Question:	Can you preset different levels of correction for one dog collar? As in, vibration at a high level and preset the shock correction at a lower level
Answer:	I would recommend using a Johnson Pump 28572 for the 750GPH.
Question:	Do you sale seperate collars
Answer:	It may replace it. When I was unsure I called Johnson directly and they were very helpful (847) 671 7867 is the number for them

Answer:	Yes. just measured it and it's 2". You could insert it into shaft to a depth of 21.5" before you would hit the L fitting at the top or where the hose is connected to the body of the bilge. Goody Luck! BTW: It's a good little water pump.
Question:	How will this work on intense 175lb Rottweiler
Answer:	I use it to pump out hole when I make irrigation repairs at my church. It will not suck up rocks and mud but it will handle very dirty water. It is important to pump some clean water through it after use in muddy water to flush it out. Good product I recommend.

Question:	Is this compatible with the premier pet 300 yr trainer? we need an additional one and their website said to get this one. just want to double check
Answer:	The correct answer is both. Some of these replies are confusing. You have to manually turn the bark limiter on and off, once it is on you then can choose weather the collar is in automatic rise mode, vibrate, or on a set stim level. It will always automatically do what it is set to do when the bark limiter is on automatically, you won't have to correct the dog on your own. You can also have the bark limiter on while in training mode which will allow you to correct manual and the collar will still automatically correct for barking. The collar will not correct whining.
Question:	Has the issue with the shorter prongs been resolved yet
Answer:	you have to hold the bottom located on the upper left side " On-Off " until you get the code VMC, please remember first you have the upon for the strength settle. I have a Border Collie Mix 60lb. I have it in 10 as she has long hair. My neighbors help me out to set it up. As I had return so many because they did not work.... when you set the strength and the type of program you need I like the VCM the a soft one you only have to turn everyday the On/OFF until the program preselected appears ..then you only have to test it with you hand to verify that's the one you need. I am delighted even I only have to show to y dog the control and she behaves....very rarely I had to push the middle button to correct her. Please ask any of your knowledge friends...for some help ! I did ! There is a group called " Neighbor's " in every area they will be happy to help out !
