Answer:	Only the shock level adjusts. The vibration is set and in my opinion is not very strong. It works fine in getting the attention of my 15lb multipoo. However, I first tried it on my 80lb golden retriever and it wasn't a strong enough vibration to get his attention. Could be that he has a fairly thick coat around his neck. If you have a smaller dog, or a short haired larger dog, it will probably do well.

Question:	What's the lag time between waking up the remote and it delivering a vibration
Answer:	I only use the collar when duck hunting w/ my lab. My previous tritronics and sportdog units didn't go dormant. My changed financial condition forced me into a low cost unit . I normally have to use the transmitter quickly and it sits on a lanyard along with the duck calls. Under this difficult scenario have an even money chance of hitting the wake up button as hitting THE MODE change button. If it went dark on say -vibration mode, the dog's yelp that I hit the mode change button to electric shock alerts me to the mistake. I would rather give up battery life and have a constant on like the more expensive brands.

Question:	How small of a dog can this be used for ? I have a 6 lb Chi. that is very hard headed
Answer:	I think the instructions say the smallest dog to use this on is 15lbs. I'm not sure why you can't use it on a 6lb dog because the static and vibrate correction can be set between 1-100. My dog is about 65lbs and I have it set at 50. I set it at 5 and activated it on myself and that's a little stronger than when one of your friends shocks you after scuffing their feet on the carpet and then touches you. It smarts a bit but doesn't really hurt. The other concern is the size of the unit on the collar and the size of the collar itself. The collar will definitely get small enough but the unit itself will be huge on such a tiny dog. The unit dimensions are 2.5L x 1.5W x 1H in inches and the electrodes are 1.25 inches apart. I think it would safe but I'm not sure it will fit well on a small dogs neck. I guess you could order it and test the fit? I don't want to recommend this one way or the other but hope this helps you.

Answer:	2 collar receivers and 1 remote. The top button (1/2) controls each collar separately. So I have my bigger dog on a higher setting and the small dog on a low setting.
