Answer:	I wear size 11 and that is what I wear in a sneaker, however they were a little big so I put another insole and that helped. I just wish they would make a 10 1/2 because that is really what I need.

Answer:	They are wider than my normal shoes but fit comfortably..my normal size is 13 D...not sure of the width of the shoe they may be a sizeE

Answer:	Didn't really inspect them as I returned the shoes because they were "mis-sized". Wear a 9 and they seemed more like a 10....so maybe this could be an indication that it was man made material. Really don't know.

Answer:	Hi there John, the large white unit is the transmitter. The wires in the ground connects to this and it controls the signal. The smaller unit is a lightening protector that reduces the risk of power surges.
Question:	How much wire will I need to get for about 2 acres of property
Answer:	Hi there, for 2 acres of property you will need a minimum of 1,200 feet of wire. It will probably be best to have a total of 3 spools of wire (500 ft. each) so that you don't run out as the layout may call for extra.
Question:	How many feet of wire is included
Answer:	This system includes 500 feet of 20 gauge wire. However, I did a good deal of research before purchasing this system and I found that this is was not going to be enough for my yard and more importantly, this 20 gauge is a very light weight wire and many people had to replace it after just two years. As a result, I did use this system, but I did not use the cheap wire that came with it. I, instead, went to FlexPetz.com and used their "Heavy Duty 16-Gauge Dog Fence Wire (1000 ft)". The SKU number was HD-16AWG-1000. It cost me $117.95 and the shipping was free. They also have a good selection of various lengths if you do not need 1000 feet. I finished installing my fence myself two weeks ago and it is working great. I have no complaints and I feel confident knowing that I will not need to replace the wire anytime soon.

Question:	does the wire have to be buried
Answer:	The wire doesn't have to be buried. However, it is safer so it doesn't accidentally get caught in a mower blade or tripped over. We have parts of our fence that are above ground when it runs from the ground to up under our deck. I cut a slice down a foam wading tube and slid the wire in where the wire is exposed from the ground to the porch. We used plastic Christmas light fasteners to put it under our deck. We are "extremely" happy we invested in this fence. It has brought us peace of mind.
Question:	How deep does the wire need to be buried
Answer:	With the Pro Grade kit, you can bury the wire as deep as 18" if you need to. Thank you for your question today.
Question:	Can you set it to do the tone at a certain distance away from the fence and then do the static correction as they get closer
Answer:	No, you can't. You can set the distance to where the collar "activates" but that means your pet gets the tone and the shock at the same time. You can't set the system to give your pet a warning and then a correction if they continue towards the boundary like other systems.

Digital Transmitter

Dimensions: 4.5" high x 5.5" wide x 1" deep

The fence transmitter is the brain of your eXtreme Dog Fence. You not only set your signal field width here (which is the distance from the wire that the collar will activate), but you also program your collar's correction level here.

You can also change AM radio frequencies here, if you have a neighboring fence system that is causing interference with your fence.

The transmitter should be mounted indoors, so as to avoid any moisture getting into the electronics, and at least 3' away from any large metal objects.

Waterproof "Active" Collar

16 AWG Twisted Wire

Specs: 16 gauge, solid copper core wire with .045 polyethylene jacket (UV resistant, direct ground burial rated)

This wire comes pre-twisted to meet the standard recommended 5-7 twists per foot.

Twisted wire can only be used in certain situations, and will not work in others:

Successful Uses:

1. When containing front and back yard, and house is not bordering containment area - The twisted wire carries signal from transmitter to the boundary wire loop
2. Connecting the main perimeter loop to a smaller loop inside the containment area (restricting access to a garden or swimming pool, for example)
3. Allowing an entry/exit point for your dog in a "Double Loop" wire layout.

Unsuccessful Uses:

1. In single loop, backyard only layout - Trying to splice twisted wire into the boundary wire to allow the dog to go in and out of the house without activating the collar

Question:	how far will a unit cover I want to run 3000 ft I have a petsafe unit
Answer:	Hi Eric,You must create a complete loop with the wire so no, you can't have a break. It sounds like you are trying to create a containment zone just in the back yard, you will have to run the wire around the front of the house or you need to run the wire up the side of the house and across the eve or gutter and then down the other side. Question:	You don't have to bury the boundary wire, do you? Does the rock have a place to connect the wire
Answer:	I charged mine about once per month. I would not recommend these though. I have two dogs, each with a collar. They have worked good, but have had to replace both in less than 1 year of use.
Question:	is tfis compatable with PetStop
Answer:	Thank you for your questions! The wire can be attached to an existing fence as long as that fence is either chain link (or other galvanized metal fences) or a non-metal fence. Any type of metal other than galvanized will interfere with the signal that the wire sends out. The distance from the wire that the receiver collar will begin to activate is fully adjustable using a Boundary Width Dial on the transmitter unit. You can get it as close as a foot or two or as far away as 8-12' away depending on environmental factors.
Question:	Has anyone every attached it to a barber wire fence
Answer:	Hi Karen, training is extremely important with these fences. Once the pup learns that they can run through it is hard to re-condition them to stay in the yard, however, we may be able to come up with some solutions based on settings or training. Question:	Hello, are you able to create breaks in the containment zone or does it need to be a continuous loop? We want the dog to still have access to the deck
Answer:	PetSafe's website states their Stubborn Dog transmitter's feature a "wire break alarm" although from my experience it is more an "indicator" than an "alarm". On the front panel of the transmitter, a red LED indicates continuity - meaning I have a full loop without breaks. Good to check this from time to time.

Question:	I would be so grateful if anyone can recommend the best invisible fence that would work for very fast and athletic dogs
Answer:	This fence is great for mine. I have a pitbull/bird dog mix and she is very fast and athletic. We run 4-5 miles a day and she is still wound up. Mine is 1 year old and this keeps her contained. I have to change the battery in the collar about once a month or so, but this works well. I have the collar set on setting four and five is too high. She even can go out in the yard with out the collar and won't leave for a few days until she notices she can get out. This is a great product. We have had it for about five or six months and so far are very happy with it.
Question:	Do i have to bury the wire or can I run it along the bottom wire of my fence and get the same results .. and if I can how deep or how high can I go
Answer:	Thanks for your question, Brandon! The wire does not necessarily need to be buried; it will work just as well above-ground. However, if the fence you are running it along is metal or has metal components, these could possibly interfere with the signal that the wire sends out. If this is the case, the wire may need to be kept at least 5' away from the metal of the fence in order to function properly.As to the maximum depth and height, we recommend the wire be buried no deeper than around 6-8" and the height would depend on how high you set the boundary width dial on the transmitter unit. The maximum distance that the signal can be sent varies depending on environmental factors, but typically can go up to 8-12'. As long as this signal is set wide enough that it is still activating the receiver collars at ground level, it would be fine to install the wire at this height.
Question:	Why does the wire have to be twisted? Does it take three strands of wire? We have 47 acres and want the dogs to have run of our farm
Answer:	I've got the control box in my garage. I have the twisted line that is setup to run out of my garage to the perimeter loop which is single strand. As stated, the part that is twisted allows the dog to run over that area and not get corrected. This way my dog can run around my entire house. If you are doing a large run of 47 acres I would definitely upgrade wire. I think I used 14 gauge. The stuff that comes with this kit is very light duty. This fence is one of the best things we ever did for our pup. It's so nice to just let her out and not have to worry about her ever leaving the yard.
Question:	This product states 100-acre in-ground fence. Does that mean it will surround an entire acre or what
Answer:	It will surround 100 entire acres. The circumference of an acre is 960 feet. The system comes with 1000' of wire which is enough to enclose an acre, if you want to enclose more you will need to purchase more wire. The system can accomodate 9600' of wire from what i understand.

Question:	What does four levels of static correction mean? Is that vibration up to a shock
Answer:	Thank you for your questions! The wire can be attached to an existing fence as long as that fence is either chain link (or other galvanized metal fences) or a non-metal fence. Any type of metal other than galvanized will interfere with the signal that the wire sends out. The distance from the wire that the receiver collar will begin to activate is fully adjustable using a Boundary Width Dial on the transmitter unit. You can get it as close as a foot or two or as far away as 8-12' away depending on environmental factors.
Question:	HOW DO i INSTALL THIS IN GROUND FENCE
Answer:	Hi Karen, training is extremely important with these fences. Once the pup learns that they can run through it is hard to re-condition them to stay in the yard, however, we may be able to come up with some solutions based on settings or training. Answer:	Mine and many others (read reviews) at times go off randomly no where near the perimeter. My dog has been shocked as far as 30 feet from the boundary. It has happened enough that my dog is now scared to go into the yard at all. Customer service was no help at all. Save your money and buy a better brand. When the unit is working like it should, the distance can be set by a dial on the transmitter, anywhere from about 1 foot to 6 feet.

Answer:	We had some naughty teenagers walk by and try to kick out 3 of the pickets on one end. All they accomplished was to "dent" the pickets. I was able to bend the creased pickets back into position. The fence is in a sunny spot so the vinyl conformed back into it's original state within a few days. You'd never know there was any damage!

The SportDOG Brand Contain+Train system is designed to provide all of the current containment capabilities of our In-Ground Fence combined with the remote training capabilities of our popular FieldTrainer 425 allowing owners to secure their dogs within set boundaries and train both inside those boundaries at home and in the field.

The Collar Receiver for the Contain+Train system works by receiving radio signal from both the Fence Transmitter and the Remote Transmitter. With 3 modes of operation you decide which signals the Collar Receiver responds to.

In Containment Mode the Collar Receiver only picks up radio signal that has been sent through the Boundary Wire from the Fence Transmitter. While wearing the Collar Receiver, when your dog approaches the Boundary Wire and steps into the Warning Zone, a warning beep will be delivered. If your dog continues towards the Boundary Wire and into the Stimulation Zone, a safe, static stimulation will be delivered through the Contact Points to get his attention until he returns to the Boundary Area. In Containment mode the Collar Receiver will not respond to the operation of the Remote Transmitter.

In Training Mode, the Collar Receiver only listens to the radio signal sent from the Remote Transmitter, allowing you to train your dog inside or outside of the Boundary Area. In this mode, the Collar Receiver will not react when entering the Warning Zone or Stimulation Zone of the Boundary Area.

In Containment and Training Mode the Collar Receiver will respond to both the radio signal sent from the Fence Transmitter through the Boundary Wire and the radio signal sent from the Remote Transmitter. This allows you to simultaneously train your dog while he is being contained.

Answer:	I bought some cheap tubing from HD and ran the wire through the tubing and over the driveway. I think the tubing was for irrigation and would be found near the sprinkler heads at HD. It worked for years.

Question:	Can you connect to receivers for larger boundarie
Answer:	Yes, it's easy. If you place two units the perimeter will be the shape of a figure 8. Moving them closer together changes the shape to a 0. The area inside is free range. Three can make the shape of a three petaled flower or a long potato. Four makes more of a square. An issue to consider is interference caused by buildings and such. You just need electricity and protection from weather.
Question:	how to set up the fence
Answer:	Hmmm, this is a whacky system of Q&A, as I see nothing relating to the product in question onscreen. I can only assume that it's for the petsafe wireless fencing system, because I reviewed it a long time ago. In which case, I'd recommend searching youtube "how to set up petsafe wireless fencing system" or something along those lines. That is what I did, and found not only that but also visuals on how to train the animal to it....and, just to add to my last review a year ago, thank you, Petsafe, for continually providing some of the best customer service that I have ever experienced.
Question:	Can the range of the system be reduced to something less than the 90 feet? We want to use in our RV so area for containment would need to be smaller
Answer:	Yes it can be reduced to a very small area. The PetSafe company has a video online that explains it very well and how to test the exact distance you have set by changing the dial on the transmitter. Some friends of mine take it camping ( when an electric outlet is available) to contain their dog within their campsite. Main thing to remember that the broadcast area is round. Also follow instructions on training your pet to understand the system which is also on the afforementioned PetSafe video.Hope that helps.

Answer:	If you have Internet through a cable company, it is possible for it to mess with your modem (not the wifi but the actual cable signal coming into the modem that gives you internet). It's really close to the upstream frequencies and could potentially cause problems
