Question:	Can you connect to receivers for larger boundarie
Answer:	Yes, it's easy. If you place two units the perimeter will be the shape of a figure 8. Moving them closer together changes the shape to a 0. The area inside is free range. Three can make the shape of a three petaled flower or a long potato. Four makes more of a square. An issue to consider is interference caused by buildings and such. You just need electricity and protection from weather.
Question:	how to set up the fence
Answer:	Hmmm, this is a whacky system of Q&A, as I see nothing relating to the product in question onscreen. I can only assume that it's for the petsafe wireless fencing system, because I reviewed it a long time ago. In which case, I'd recommend searching youtube "how to set up petsafe wireless fencing system" or something along those lines. That is what I did, and found not only that but also visuals on how to train the animal to it....and, just to add to my last review a year ago, thank you, Petsafe, for continually providing some of the best customer service that I have ever experienced.
Question:	Can the range of the system be reduced to something less than the 90 feet? We want to use in our RV so area for containment would need to be smaller
Answer:	Yes it can be reduced to a very small area. The PetSafe company has a video online that explains it very well and how to test the exact distance you have set by changing the dial on the transmitter. Some friends of mine take it camping ( when an electric outlet is available) to contain their dog within their campsite. Main thing to remember that the broadcast area is round. Also follow instructions on training your pet to understand the system which is also on the afforementioned PetSafe video.Hope that helps.

Answer:	If you have Internet through a cable company, it is possible for it to mess with your modem (not the wifi but the actual cable signal coming into the modem that gives you internet). It's really close to the upstream frequencies and could potentially cause problems

Answer:	Yes,this fence unite comes with about 8 or 9 long round rods . The rods are about one quarter of an inch thick, and about 28 to 34 inches long. The rods are used as pins to hold the sections of fence together. The rods are long enough that the extra can be pushed into the ground and makes for a very strong , stable fenced enclosure. Answer:	I think so! My dog is in the Shephard family that has amazing ability to jump and was very bored and curious. My dog was crazy about hunting. I went from my dog jumping my 6ft fence to sticking by the house because of this line. The key is don't allow the dogs see you install the line and follow the directions exactly. Due to the nature of our dogs, they will challenge the line at first. If you follow the directions, the challenge and curiosity will be "zapped" right out of them. I NEVER chase my dog around the neighborhood anymore! This is a fantastic buy.

Answer:	I recommend not using the collar that comes with the unit, the manufacturer puts large attachment holes in a narrow collar (3/4 inch). Buy a 1 inch collar and put your own holes in. This also allows you to put the clasp on top of the dogs neck, to allow for easy removal and attachment of dog tags.

Answer:	We have it under our inflatable hot tub and it definitely adds some padding. I’m not sure about keeping heat in because the hot tub came with a bubble wrap style round mat also. Ours is on concrete and we’re able to maintain the heat with no issues, I’m not sure if the mat makes any difference with temp. Happy we bought this though.

Question:	I would be so grateful if anyone can recommend the best invisible fence that would work for very fast and athletic dogs
Answer:	This fence is great for mine. I have a pitbull/bird dog mix and she is very fast and athletic. We run 4-5 miles a day and she is still wound up. Mine is 1 year old and this keeps her contained. I have to change the battery in the collar about once a month or so, but this works well. I have the collar set on setting four and five is too high. She even can go out in the yard with out the collar and won't leave for a few days until she notices she can get out. This is a great product. We have had it for about five or six months and so far are very happy with it.
Question:	Do i have to bury the wire or can I run it along the bottom wire of my fence and get the same results .. and if I can how deep or how high can I go
Answer:	Thanks for your question, Brandon! The wire does not necessarily need to be buried; it will work just as well above-ground. However, if the fence you are running it along is metal or has metal components, these could possibly interfere with the signal that the wire sends out. If this is the case, the wire may need to be kept at least 5' away from the metal of the fence in order to function properly.As to the maximum depth and height, we recommend the wire be buried no deeper than around 6-8" and the height would depend on how high you set the boundary width dial on the transmitter unit. The maximum distance that the signal can be sent varies depending on environmental factors, but typically can go up to 8-12'. As long as this signal is set wide enough that it is still activating the receiver collars at ground level, it would be fine to install the wire at this height.
Question:	Why does the wire have to be twisted? Does it take three strands of wire? We have 47 acres and want the dogs to have run of our farm
Answer:	I've got the control box in my garage. I have the twisted line that is setup to run out of my garage to the perimeter loop which is single strand. As stated, the part that is twisted allows the dog to run over that area and not get corrected. This way my dog can run around my entire house. If you are doing a large run of 47 acres I would definitely upgrade wire. I think I used 14 gauge. The stuff that comes with this kit is very light duty. This fence is one of the best things we ever did for our pup. It's so nice to just let her out and not have to worry about her ever leaving the yard.
Question:	This product states 100-acre in-ground fence. Does that mean it will surround an entire acre or what
Answer:	It will surround 100 entire acres. The circumference of an acre is 960 feet. The system comes with 1000' of wire which is enough to enclose an acre, if you want to enclose more you will need to purchase more wire. The system can accomodate 9600' of wire from what i understand.

Question:	Can two dogs be connectes to this system at one time
Answer:	Yes they are the same size as the classic bricks and compatible with all the current sets.
Question:	We just received this and are setting up the boundaries and noticed the collar seems to take a long time to stop shocking even back within boundaries
Answer:	Not sure what the problem is. Ours gives warning noises (clicking) as the dogs get close to the boundary and then it gets stronger and louder the closer to the boundary. When it crosses the boundary it is a bit intense, not sure that it is a shock. Our dogs have yelped before when the clicking got intense as they pushed close to the boundary. I have held the collar and thought it was a bit of a shock when I crossed the boundary, but it was mild. Not sure if this helps but our experience has been good.
Question:	Difficult to remove plastic cover on button for intensity on collar. How do you get it off? The tool doesn’t work
Answer:	Thank you for this question. The boundary wire can be attached to an existing fence such as a chain link, a wooden split rail, or a privacy fence. If you are attaching the boundary wire to a chain link fence, then you may weave the wire through the links or by using plastic quick ties. If you are attaching the boundary wire to a wooden split rail or privacy fence, then you may use staples to attach the wire. However, you will want to avoid puncturing the insulation of the boundary wire. Please keep in mind, however, metals have potential to interfere or reduce signal. A large number of customers have used wired containment along fence lines for years with no issues. Be sure to lay the wire out and test everything before making a permanent install.

Question:	When will the extra collar be in stock
Answer:	For added help against bedb8gs OR to get rid of bedbugs: A) sprinkle kosher salt under bed, especially if you have carpet, between box spring & frame, between box spring & mattress! (This scratches bedbug`s body as it scrawls over salt & kills BUG by dehydrating them! Using a combo of baking soda also works, BUT baking soda can be poisonous to 0ets lick8ng paws while walk is just salty! Vacuum regularly w/ SALT & BAKING POWDER as this also nicks eggs and dehydrated them! (Seal & Throw out vacuum bags immediately) NOTE: these bugs are very hard to kill! M9st chemicals do not work as they`'ve immune from overuse & their bodies are ridiculously tough & I found impossible to crush! Best to catch each one you see and flush them! B) PUT legs of bed frame in bowl filled with water. Put gobs of Vaseline on the top and Inside & outside edges of the bowls. This will make the bed bug either stuck in the Vaseline OR stuck in the water in the bowl! It also helps monitor the problem! C) pack up all STUFFED ANIMALS & PILLOWS and whatever you cannot wash, put in freezer for about 72 hours! D) follow other tips on packing, not moving sleeping areas, AND go AROUND every crevice in walls, molding, flooring and fill in areas! I even filled big seam in between wall & baseboard w/ kosher walk, and then filled in sealant! That LOCKS any bedbug in their hidy HOLE & stops them from being able to exit!
Question:	Can I get an Extra collar
Answer:	My purchase was some time ago so the pad has seen wear and washings. I seem to remember it was fluffy but not too thick. It didn't interfere with the sheet my daughter owned.
