Answer:	I would not recommend this for a ferret. They do make a larger size model. This one is more for guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, animals of that size Etc.

Question:	Does this toy "talk" when it's is thrown or tossed or does the dog have to bite it to make it squeak? If it has to bite, does it need a strong bite
Answer:	It does. These toys you really need to be careful with however. I bought the whole set for my dog and when he bit into one, the sound box inside cracked and left razor-sharp pieces. One stuck in the roof of his mouth and he bled for quite a while. I took the box out and between all the broken plastic and wires, it was too dangerous to let him play with. I would recommend for a small dog ONLY!! The sounds these toys make, however, is absolutely hilarious and the dogs love them. It's just too bad they couldn't figure out a way to pad the sound box a little better.

Answer:	To trigger the chatter you have to really bite into the toy to get it to make any noise. It is loud and you will hear it throughout the house but it lasts only 5 seconds. I have 4 mini schnauzers and when they decide to go crazy squeaking it incessantly I take it away from to keep my sanity!

So if anyone is doubting how many batteries, take them in if you don’t find 3!

Question:	How can i clean it
Answer:	All "talky toys" have a power source. In Multipet, the batteries are sturdily encased in a plastic box unit inside the toy surrounded (more or less) by stuffing. All such toys come with a warning (and probably all dog toys to some extent) that "play must be supervised, if visible damage occurs take the toy away from your pet." It would be wise to supervise one's pet with any dog toys every time.
Question:	why did mine come with batteries that my dog can swallow? there is no mention of batteries in the listing
Answer:	It is about 5 inches tall and 8 inches long, not including the tail. My little 8 lb lap dog loves it as well as my 86 lb dog. It has taken much abuse and still says moo! Great toy. My big dog usually rips the little dogs toys up, but she loves this one.

Answer:	I just submitted an answer to this question, but my answer is for another toy, not Duckworth. So sorry for my goof. Duckworth's squeaker is buried so deep, I can't imagine removing it without total destruction of Duckworth.

Answer:	I washed our "duckie" about 4-5 times before the squeaker finally gave out.

Answer:	Someone mentioned that no dog toys are made here in the USA. West Paw makes dog toys, but they are not cheap to buy.

Answer:	No. The seams are not at all reinforced. With that being said, I have a pretty aggressive chewer and she hasn't destroyed this toy yet, mostly because she's using it as a pillow.
