Answer:	No this is a rope lead. If you leave a dog alone that is chewing they will chew through even fire hose. It is just a matter of time. This lead is made for training while you are there, not to leave them tied up for hours. My puppy started to chew through it fairly quickly when I used it as a temporary tie down while doing yard work for about 15 minutes. I knew better but didn't have much choice at the time. If the dog isn't a chewer then it would work fine as a tie down.

Answer:	The clip is about 2.5 inches--I have used it with my 3 month old puppy, and it has worked well. Answer:	My leash has a loop on one end for a handle and a metal clip on the other end that you slide open and connect to the dog collar. If you dont have both of these on each end, I would request a replacement.

Answer:	I believe it can. I think we used a harness on our dog at first, but he proved too big, strong and eager, so we had to move to a pinch collar which works well for us, and often use this lead with it. If we go into a place where he will be hard to control we use a shorter street lead with a wider hand grip. I like having the options.

Question:	I ask if this is one ball or 3. Got a few responses that said 1. Then why do they show a picture of 3 and they are different sizes?? Very misleading
Answer:	They are showing you 3 different sizes that are avaliable.
Question:	How long is the rope
Answer:	The rope is about 10 inches long with a loop in it. I usually grab the ball by the loop and sling the hell out of it. Great exercise for my dog and he loves it.

Answer:	When I purchased it, which was a while ago, it was just one ball.
Question:	What type of rope is used for this toy
Answer:	The rope is woven cotton. This ball's rope is longer than in the balls sent from Germany, but the ball is resilient to the dogs chewing. My male German Shepherd will chew the rope if I allow, so I play but don't let him keep it. The long allows me to jettison the ball much further than I could throw it.
