Answer:	The medium sized ball is closest in size. The large ball would be near a baseball and the smallest a ping pong ball. My dog (standard poodle) loves all the different size.

Babble Ball Story

Pet Qwerks was founded by Jim Gick with his tinkering to solve his boxer Koko’s broken toy dilemma. One day Koko brought him a favorite stuffed toy which had talked but was broken. “He had that look on his face: ‘Please, fix it Dad”, Jim said. The toy sat broken on the garage work bench for a month or so, and Koko would look up at the bench every time he passed it. He knew where it had been tossed. Passing through a store one day, Jim was inspired by a ball shaped yoyo. Looking at the yoyo it came to mind that it was the perfect ball for reviving the old broken plush toy. Jim went to work and made a motion switch to fit inside the yoyo. With a little pushing & shoving all of the components fit neatly inside it was glued closed. Upon greeting the new toy, Koko’s ears and eyes lit up with curiosity. He knew the sound from before but now they were coming out of a ball. He went wild and chased it all over the house until he was exhausted. The Babble Ball was born!

How long do the batteries last?

The Babble Balls produce 12,000 - 15,000 phrases or sounds with a set of batteries. If your pet causes the ball to make 100 sounds per day, it should last for approximately 4 - 6 months. Depending upon your pets play habits it will last more or less. The balls switch into sleep mode as soon as it motion stops. It then consume energy at the rate of a quartz watch.

Can I replace the batteries?

Yes! The battery compartment can be opened by removing the 2 deep set phillips screws. Replace with 3 new 1.5 volt (AG13/LR44) button cell batteries. They should be readily available from your local supermarket or drug store. If you have any difficulty opening the battery compartment door then use a pair of needle nosed plies to pull open. See photo on the right.

How do I clean the Babble Ball?

A clean damp cloth works fine. Do not submerse the balls as it will damage the electrical components. Saliva is not able to penetrate the ball and cause damage.

Answer:	Not sure I've ever heard it called "chuckle ball", but I've heard called "Bumble Ball" and yes it was for kids, I bought as a kid's toy, still great for babies! It is smaller than it used to be, but still the same product. I would definitely recommend!
Question:	There are tiny screws holding the ball together; do I remove these to replace battery? They are very tight and don't want to force them unnessarily

Answer:	Yes. It take three LR44 button batteries. (Under $8 for 20 and well worth it if your pets enjoy the Babble Ball as much as my dog and all his canine buddies!) Remove the two screws in the top of the ball. You can use a pair of needle nose pliers to open the battery compartment once the screws are removed. Apply gentle pressure on the pliers and pull the round cover straight out. You will be able to see the batteries once the cap is out. Easy! Delete

Answer:	This ball is a hard plastic ball not to be bounced but rolled. My dog is not blind but loves this ball and is her favorite toy. The ball does continue to make sounds for a short time after being pushed and will also makes sounds when barked at within a few inches of the ball. Hope this helps
Question:	How do you determine the size to get for your pet
Answer:	I have a 10 lb. Chihuahua-Jack Russel mix who is a very aggressive chewer. The first one I bought was a small size and she loved it. However, she could carry it in her mouth and therefore chew it. It leaves small shards of hard plastic on the ball which hurt her mouth. The next one I got was the medium size and its perfect. It drives her crazy that she can't carry it or chew on it as easily. She still does a pretty good job of destroying it so I put it inside of socks or other toys to make it more difficult. It is by far her FAVORITE toy and will play with it for hours nonstop. I hope this helps.
