Answer:	I don't think so. It is very stiff on the underside. I think my washer would tear it up or it would tear up the washer! I just rinse with hot water outside. It isn't stinky unless you get up close and sniff it.

Answer:	The pad itself is so poorly put together that I believe it would fall apart if put into a washing machine. I washed it in the tub by hand and at least 50 of the ‘blades’ of turf fell out. After 2 weeks of use I threw it away. BUYER BEWARE- this item is garbage!

Answer:	It shouldn't hurt to leave it outside. The grass and pan are made of plastic. It should be drained and hosed off frequently.

Answer:	It won't be "anti", meaning actively killing bacteria. But because it doesn't supply bacteria with anything they need, you could think of it as a wasteland for them. Part of it is that it will dry fast in comparison to carpet, for example, and bacteria likes moisture.

Answer:	It will spill directly below in the bed onto the pad. Although, the panel will also collect a small amount of urine directly beneath where it mounts to the frame. One has to wipe this area each time one changes the pad. In my experience it has never spilled out onto the floor, unless the puppy's aim is off, hence the plastic pole. Unfortunately my puppy took to wanting to pull up the pee pole to play with it. LOL

Answer:	Never trained my dog to use a potty pad but I trained him to use this. I took the grass part out and went to the dog park and rubbed it all around the ground. Both of my dogs quickly knew to use that.

Answer:	The grass pad that comes with it does not clean easily and starts to develop a strong urine smell. I went to home center and bought a indoor/outdoor carpet remnant and cut several pads. They wash out easily and when they begin to smell I replace them.
