We bought a 4x2 piece of sod from Home Depot, cut it to size and placed the real grass on top of the fake grass. For 2 days he continued to avoid peeing inside. This next part is weird so please don't judge me...since he's a male and enjoys marking I went and collected some neighbors dog poop and placed it on the grass. Like magic, he peed right on top, we gave him lots of treats and praise and he learned that it was ok to pee on the indoor grass patch. After about 4 days he was confidently using it consistently so we removed the sod and he didn't even notice. It took some work on our end but he's been using the fake grass with no issues ever since.

I believe most, if not all, have some sort of citrus oil in them, so that is something to consider if you absolutely hate or are allergic to lemon or bergomot (type of orange). You may not smell the citrus depending on what scent you choose, but it will be there. Best bet is to order one of the gift sets that come with about 5 of the little disposable sprays (only 3-5 uses each). That way you can sample different popular scents.

Answer:	I have use similar ones and they make cleaning so much easier! I’m not sure why people keep saying you can’t use them. They make the exact same thing for guinea pig cages...... the only difference is it’s a picture of a guinea pig on the cover instead of a dog...... it’s been safe for ours.

Answer:	Yes, this should work in a pet carrier. I have a cat who pees in the carrier when we take him to the vet...it sucks up the pee nicely :) it doesn't have a sticky bottom, so you may want to tape the corners in place.

Answer:	This one did not come with a sprayer.
Question:	Is this only for peeing on or also poop? How is the cleaning if dog has soft stool
Answer:	I agree with the others. I noticed it is very diluted to the point it doesn't seem too effective when using the bottle attachment to the hose. I used full strength on my stone where the dogs sometimes go and it worked wonders vs trying the diluted way. Just not sure how full strength will be on plants or grass.
Question:	Strong odor straight out of the box, no chemicals. Plastic or something else? Anyone noticed this? Wondering if this unit has been used
Answer:	Not as long as it is properly diluted. Animal hospitals and rescues that I work with use it to clean cages, carpets, rooms, let it set 10 minutes, then let it dry. Of course do not spray it directly on the animal and let the area completely dry before you let the animals back in the area. If you click on the pic above it will let you read the back of the bottle and the ingredients for specific instructions.
Question:	I have a basset-lab mix dog who is 10 years old and weighs 50 lbs. Will it work for a dog this size
Answer:	The effects are immediate. Spray, and the odor is gone. With one dog, I don't have to use it too often, but with a pet area, you should consider weekly at first. I purchased the large refill, mixed it, and put it in one of those garden sprayers (the kind you fill, pump up with air, then walk around spraying) It holds two gallons, you don't use a lot, and it dries quickly. It's definitely worth a try.
