Answer:	At a guess I would say it means just "flavor" since that's how it's written. My cat is a pretty picky eater but she LOVES the gravy and will usually just eat that on many types of cat food. BUT on this particular type, Cat Concoctions, she wouldn't eat any of it. I don't blame her, they looked very unappetizing, even for cat food. Maybe other cats like it but they don't live here. Answer:	I have put water in it to soften it for my cat when she was having problems. It didn't become a gravy, it just became softer pellets ten it dries again. I would assume if you wanted to make gravy you would have to blend it into a powder first then add water
