Answer:	No it doesn't on my pups. I put the topical treatment on 2 days before a bath like it says then bathe them as usual. My Poms are SO very soft and smell so sweet after their baths. Of course if you give a bath before the suggested 2 day wait on the flea treatment it may reduce it's effectiveness. :)

Answer:	We bathe our Maltese every two weeks and there is a noticeable difference before and after the bath. I would say the shampoo cleans the coat for about 7-10 days; of course this depends on how often they roll in the dirt.

Answer:	I don't recommend using flea shampoos or sprays. They are not as effective as the dermal application types of flea medication such as Frontline or Advantix. I think you will find these types of flea control/preventative much easier to apply and much more effective. You can shampoo your dog a week after application with any shampoo, including the Bio-Groom.
