Answer:	Even though the shampoo doesn’t sting and burn the eyes (as regular shampoo or soap would), it still makes good sense to keep any chemicals and dirty water out of the eyes to avoid possible irritation or injury. I have used this shampoo (diluted) on my fingertips to carefully clean the brown-stained hair near my dog’s eyes without any problem, but I still try not to get any directly in her eyes and always rinse well right away in a direction away from her eyes. I would not attempt that with a shampoo that wasn’t tear-free, due to discomfort and potential of causing corneal ulcers or other eye problems. I have been well pleased with the Burt’s Bees product and have used it for several years (still being careful around the eyes). Hope this helps!

Answer:	I'm not 100% sure but it does treat fungus. If you were going to try it i would try the sprey as it can stay on it. and I dont know if you are aware but some simple athletes foot cream will treat a ring worm as they are both fungus. I have personally used athletes foot cream for ring worms

Answer:	There are so many uninformed answers to this question. Coal tar is anti-fungal, anti-parasitic, anti-itch, anti-inflammatory. It’s used to treat psoriasis in humans. And yes, yeast is a fungus. It’s most likely that your dog with “yeast” problems has an overgrowth of Candida Albicans, and very probable that it’s an internal overgrowth that caused the skin affliction. I’m not speaking for the effectiveness of coal tar against Candida, but if topical treatment of your dog’s skin issue doesn’t respond to treatment or reoccurs after treatment, you should consider treating the problem internally. Also, if you’re feeding your dog dry food you may be perpetuating the problem. Dry food is rarely free of mold/mycotoxins.

Answer:	Barely anything, I was actually quite disappointed at the change between this and the last pet shampoo I bought, it always left them smelling great for days on end, nice and clean and shampooy. This has almost no odor and I find the way too subtle scent a big let down personally. If you don't want your pet to smell of any shampoo or purfume type scent, maybe you will be happier than me with this product, as for myself, I like the way a pet is supposed to smell when just washed, so I don't think I will be buying it again. It might not be a problem for others, the lesser more subtle scent may even be a plus for some, but its just not my preference. Cucumbers and aloe vera doesn't have a strong enough essence to last or be too strong.

What I typically do is sprinkle it on a rag and then use that to rub it into the dog's fur. Any remaining sometimes just sticks to the rag better and then I can shake it out. The formula contains 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide and 2% Sulfur, which can over-dry the skin if used too frequently. We do not recommend using this shampoo for every bath if you bathe your dog often, multiple times per week. Our shampoos are made without chemical lathering agents, so you won't experience a ton of suds like you might when using other shampoos that do contain lathering agents. You can expect a light lather and, more importantly, you can expect a thorough clean when bathing your dog with our shampoo. We recommend adding a little water as you are working the shampoo into your pet's skin if you find that it is too thick, to help spread the product to all areas needing relief. Answer:	Directions: once a week. I bought two different types I liked the malaseb better. That one is three times the first week then once a week.

Answer:	The shampoo is not made to foam . You do not need a lot . To much will dry out the dogs skin. It is used to kill off yeast and for skin problems. It works very well if rubbed into skin and left on 5 - 10 minutes. Use it twice a week . My dog has had skin problems all its life . This is the one shampoo that has worked . I have tried many ! Answer:	My dog has Demadex which is essentially Mange, I typically use once a week, but if she’s smelling more like yeast than usual, i will use twice a week. Key to this treatment is letting it sit on skin for the full 10 minutes before rinsing as recommended.
