Answer:	The box I bought and the box that arrived says superior platinum. And they perform very well. I have a light beard and can get three shaves out of the blades before changing. I possibly could get more than 3 shaves but I am not willing to risk cutting my face because the price is so reasonable and the quality excellent.

Answer:	I’m not really sure if my hair is coarse or not by comparison, but I can say that these blades are much sharper and smoother than the blades that came with my safety razor. I feel little or no tug at all. Good luck.

Answer:	I am not certain but the plastic guard combs work really well. I suppose if they metal ones fit the device they would be fine. I don't believe there is a reason to upgrade the ones that come with the clippers.

Question:	What’s included
Answer:	Hat and helmet sizes have been difficult for me also. For the riding helmets, this summer we bought helmets that were too small, based on measured head circumference. We had to ship them back to buy larger ones. We've had the same experience with hats, where we measured the head circumference and ordered the hat accordingly but the hat was too small. The riding helmets can be adjusted, so that is another reason to suggest going a little larger than the measured size.

Answer:	A puppy cut means the same length is used for the face, body, and tail. It can be any length you choose.
Question:	I need a "Number 10" blade to groom my dogs. What are the blade specifications for the blades included with this trimmer
Answer:	There are plenty of different blades available, online and at pet shops. You want Oster blades, and they really haven't changed the design in at least 40years. I have a couple of #10s and also use #8 and even a #40 to clean the unseen tummy area where they might get mats
Question:	will the clipper not get too hot and will I be able to cut my dogs hair thin one has a very thick coat oster A5 turbo2 speed
Answer:	The clippers will get hot. Besides the blade getting hot, you will feel it in your hand from the body of the clipper. I check the blade periodically by putting the flat of the blade on the back of my hand or cheek. I don't believe the dogs feel the heat much when you are clipping the body of the coat but you need to be careful of their faces, feet and other sensitive parts if you clip them. I blow on their feet while clipping if I am close to being done with the task. Otherwise, I let the clippers cool & do something else such as brushing or clipping toenails while the clippers cool.

Answer:	Yes (I'm really surprised by the answers here). I tried using the device as a bridge between an RME audio interface and a Line 6 Helix, and there was noticeable lag when monitoring guitars--lag that didn't exist using either device alone. I don't think that can be accounted for by A/D or D/A conversation given the digital signal, so the only thing I can figure is that the converter created the lag (I monitored directly from the RME device, not a DAW). The lag was relatively minor; I don't think it would matter for someone watching TV. But for music creation, it mattered to me. Someone else might be able to tolerate it.
Question:	Replacement cord for whal pro series plus
Answer:	There are two different models entered as different "colors." (I hate when vendors do this!) One has two analog outputs (RCA and 3.5 mm), the other two digital outputs (optical and coaxial). Both models have two digital inputs, one optical and one coaxial. The all-digital model has an input selector switch. I don't know what would happen if you connected both inputs on the analog model, which appears to lack this switch. Anyway, in both models it appears that both outputs are active simultaneously, no matter which input is used. So the answer to your question (which is about the all-digital model) appears to be YES.

Answer:	No it does not come with combs. It depends on the blade size for how short the hair cut will be. The higher the number, the shorter the cut. The letter F after the number means fine. If your dog has a thick coat you don’t want an F blade. This one comes with a 10 blade which is pretty short. I have a schnauzer and for her cut I had to buy a 7F for her body and a 3F (I should have bought a 3 because of how curly her fur is).

Question:	Is this clipper strong/big enough to clip a horse's body
Answer:	I don't know about that. My dog is a poodle and has very course and curly hair. It's the strongest one we have been able to find and it does the job but it definitely does not glide right through. It takes several passes and gets hot. I'm afraid to burn him sometimes because it has to work so hard. We use the shortest clipper cover too and only because I don't want to burn him running the blade straight with no plastic piece over it. But we have tried several and this one has held up the best so far.
