Answer:	Hi - I would think so as Samoyed have the layers of fur. The needles on this brush are very long. Longer than any other brush I could find. This helps tremendously when I am brushing out my dog. I have a 100+ goldendoodle and his fur is more like hair. This brush is the best I could find to help me in brushing him out every night.

Answer:	It does not have a push button but it is very easy to pull the hair off with fingers or comb through the base of the bristles..

Answer:	It works well on our 8lb. 4oz. Schnoodle. She's not overly fond of the metal tines. Sometimes I can get a little overly aggressive. But, it helps if you brush with quicker strokes (for our pet anyways). It should work fine for your pup. It works better than the plastic ones with the rounded tips. Helps to get the mats out too (if you are not a frequent brusher). ;)~
