| Answer: | My dog has been on Nutro since she was a puppy. She is now 6 years old and was eating the adult large breed chicken/rice formula (blue bag with a GSD on it). I went to my local pet place and to my dismay they changed both the look and the formula. I had no other choice since I was out of food, so I bought the closest thing Nutro was now offering.She has now been on the adult large breed chicken/rice/potato for a couple weeks. She has been gassy and hasn't had a solid BM for about a week. I just switched her to a bland diet (boiled rice/chicken breast mix) and she seems to be feeling better already. I'm really hoping this is just a coincidence so I'll reintroduce the Nutro slowly and see how it goes. If that doesn't work I'll have to start looking and different brands, and that's a pretty big bummer. |

After having our dog on medicine and a special dog food diet for over a month or more he is now finally healthy. If your dog does not have any food allergies or digestive issues certainly you can try the dog food. Our dog loved it, however, we feel there is something in the dog food that certainly does not agree with dogs. We feel the company should look into this issue with so many dogs having issues with their food and becoming sick and having diarrehea. |
