Their website has good information on the quality of their dog food and how it is manufactured. It has almost been a year since we made the switch and my pup hasn’t had any problems since. |

| Answer: | Hi. I have been dealing with dogs with IBD and other food sensitivities for nearly a decade and want to pass what I have learned along. I am not a spokesperson and will not receive any compensation for the following. I have had several dogs that had food sensitivities. Unfortunately, none of them had the same food sensitivity, so there was no one dog food that would necessarily meet all their needs. I was able to determine their different food sensitivities through a test called Nutriscan. It is pricey, but ultimately helped me determine that one of my dogs was sensitive to poultry, one to legumes (peas, peanuts and lentils) and one to eggs and barley. My current dogs now get primal frozen nuggets (they also have a freeze dried version). Most digestive sensitivities are due to food sensitivities. Good luck. |

When you see any meat "meal" as one of the first few ingredients, it has a high meat content. |

What I particularly like is that this kind of dry dog food does NOT utilize any "rendered meat" -- which--- I kid you not -- can and often does contain euthanized pets, road kill, dead zoo animals, downed cows (complete with ear tags) and wrapped out of date grocery store packaged meats, complete with styrofoam and plastic packaging. Ye gods!!! THIS product NAMES all the ingredients it uses like buffalo and venison, which I find literally v. refreshing indeed by comparison) and again, think are US sourced, not foreign. | Answer: | You probably shouldn't feed those two types of dogs the same food. The pom definitely needs a small breed formula, & the husky will need certain things in the large breed, like glucosamine & chondroitin. The different formulas are not about the size of the bites. It's about the content of the food. |
