Answer:	It is the only food our new puppies can eat. We’ve tried several different brands and they were allergic. So, we tried a small bag of this bought locally, and they kept it down fine.

Answer:	Hi there. We used this for our puppy, for one year. He loved it and we think it is great food and for the price as well. We did switch back to a food that has grain after one year, since some vets are saying grain free might not be the best thing for dogs, if they don't have any sensitivity to grain. And also, some press about the grain free foods that then put in lentels, and other items to make up for the missing grain is also why we changed, but after a year. So, to answer the question it was a great food and we only used the puppy one. Thanks!
Question:	What is the calcium percentage? I am trying to determine if this is an appropriate food for my two large breed puppies
Answer:	Im not sure about the calcium percentage but I have feed this to all five of my dogs two small breeds a black and chocolate lab and a pure German shepherd they all haven't had a problem with it they all enjoy it and it keeps them very healthy especially my German shepherd who's very active.

Answer:	According to MerrickPetCare.com the Crude Protein (minimum) is 30% per serving / Crude Fat (min) is 12% / Crude Fiber (max) 3.5% / Moisture (min) 11% / Omega-6 (min) 3% / Omega-3 (min) 0.3%. - Side note: My German Shepherd puppy has been eating this for approximately 3 months now. He started eating it well from the beginning and still seems to enjoy his meals. He has a healthy body weight and nice shiny coat. I found an independent site that rated many national brand and artisan type foods and Merrick rated one of the highest A+ food options you can buy. I plan to continue using Merrick products for him when he is due to transition to adult food.
Question:	I have a picky Yorkie, does anyone think he may like this
Answer:	It would be hard to say, but I would assume that your Yorkie would probably like the poultry pieces in it. I would recommend trying out a smaller bag to see if the Yorkie likes it or not. But remember to correctly transition your dog to the new food.

Answer:	Yes. The kibble is very small. There are larger freeze dried chunks of chicken but they are not hard like the kibble. My puppy started eating it when she was about 10 -12 lbs and she had no problem with the size.
