A 6lb bag feeds my Shih-Tzu for a month, 15lb for 2.5 months, give or take as his appetite varies. | Answer: | We have been feeding our 9 year old, 80+ lb yellow lab this food for over a year now. She is really sensitive to wheat and corn so we love that this food not only doesn't have that, but includes things that really benefit larger breeds. She digests it well and gobbles it up happily. Her weight is great (which was always an issue with other foods) and I like that it's made here in the US. We also love that it is affordable compared to so many of the grain-free foods out there I'd prefer to feed her. I feel like it's certainly the 'next best thing' because we can actually afford to buy it all of the time. We switch back and forth between the Large breed Lamb and Rice and the Large Breed Chicken and Rice simply because I think a varied diet is beneficial. |

I told her BB and she also feds her dog the same kibble , but she said her dog would not touch the health bits. So, all I can say, is your dog is not the only one. Probably others too.
