Answer:	This food really helped my beagle/corgi mix reach a healthy weight, and maintain it. Beagles and corgis are both known to get lazy and gain weight quickly, which she did, but after putting her on this food she got down to her optimal weight and has stayed there. Answer:	I think product actually comes from the Warehouse where it is made, not from Amazon. I usually get mine withing 2-3 days of shipping, and I do not have prime. The longest I have ever waited was 5-7 days, but I always order before I run out.

Answer:	There's a chart for weight, measurements are for the dry food before hydration. Up to 15 lbs... 1/2 to 1 cup 15 lbs to 30 lbs... 1 cup to 2 cups 30 lbs to 50 lbs... 2 cups to 2 2/3 cups 50 lbs to 75 lbs... 2 2/3 cups to 3 2/3 cups 75 lbs to 100 lbs... 3 2/3 cups to 4 1/2 cups 100+ lbs... Add 1/3 cup for every 10 lbs over 100 lbs

Answer:	I know this is an old question, but my husband and I did the math on this and it comes out to about 72 cups of dry food before you wet it for the 18lb box, which will make 58lbs of food wet. Hope this helps someone viewing now.

Answer:	It will get easier to open the more you use it. I don’t necessarily think it’s jammed, maybe just tight hinged cuz it’s new. I haven’t had mine long and it’s not lose or anything but the hinges move a bit smoother. If you’re not comfortable with it absolutely get a replacement, that’s your money and you should be 100% satisfied 🙂

Answer:	Inside the bag you will find a handy folder that tells you how much to feed your dog, depending upon his/her weight and age, how much liquid to add and how much protean. You can add either raw or cooked protean. Eggs, Chicken, Beef, Bison any kind of protean your dog will eat. I keep that folder handy, just in case my husband would, for some reason, have to mix the food for our dog.

Answer:	My shitzu prefers the miracle dog dog food because it has dried fruit and veg to bowl does not.

Question:	Are you aware that brown rice has a lot of arsenic as compared to white rice grown in CA? I wish Dr. Harvey would adjust the ingredients based on recent studies
Answer:	I trust Dr. Harvey to do what is right for companion animals, but I did ask for his opinion on the brown rice issue. Here is the response I got from Dr. Harvey's: Please be aware that organic brown rice constitutes only 4% of the total Canine Health formulation and makes up an even smaller part of the overall diet when meat and water are added. To give you further context, 4% of brown rice per scoop of Canine Health equals approximately 1 gram of Brown rice - which is 0.05% of one cup of brown rice. In recent tests by the FDA they found that brown rice samples contain approximately 6.7 Micrograms (One millionth of a gram) of inorganic arsenic in 1 cup of brown rice. (http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm319827.htm). This means that there would be about 0.03 micrograms of inorganic arsenic in one scoop of Canine Health - an extremely small amount. Additionally, the amount of brown rice in the Canine Health formulation is significantly below the FDA's acceptable range of brown rice intake, which they are not changing at this time.Dr. Harvey is researching our organic brown rice sources and we will be closely monitoring further scientific research surrounding this concern. We are being careful not to make a hasty decision,although you can be assured that we will not hesitate to make a change if we feel there is any danger at all and to reiterate, brown rice makes up such a small amount of our formula, we are certain it could not have any negative affects on a companion dog's health.
