Answer:	We use them as treats as is no water added or I sprinkle on top of our prescription wet food. But all of our babies LOVE them! As long as tour just using as a treat or occasional feeding then I'd say dry is fine. We add water to our wet food as well. Your cats can never have enough water.

Answer:	This product can be served as is. I don’t know for sure if it would work in an automated feeder. You would need to be able to clean the automated feeder thoroughly at each fill. Although considered raw, it is freeze-dried, not frozen. It does not need to be thawed or rehydrated. Contrary to the previous answer, Freeze-Dried foods do not need to be rehydrated.

Answer:	4.75 cups in the bag and no, you probably can’t afford to feed this to your cat exclusively.

Answer:	No sodium analysis on my package nor is salt listed on the ingredients.
Question:	Is your protein kibble not so huge and chunky? That would be ideal for my cat, and is what I'm looking for
Answer:	I measured and that’s about 6 pieces (when left whole) and about 7 pieces when crushed. However, my 6lb. cat cannot be held to this limit. I give her about 10 pieces a day. I call this food “kitty crack!” She goes absolutely wild for it and tears up paper towels in the kitchen demanding more. 🙄 As a side note, my cat has chronic vomiting issues and this gut health topper has really helped her!

Question:	whats the protein and fat percentages
Answer:	The serving instructions are a bit vague as the instructions are written to provide this product in Tablespoons based on a cats’ weight. It would have been easier understood based on number of bites, since each freeze dried raw boost topper is quite large. For my 8 lb cat I feed her 5 freeze dried raw boost toppers per day. This is provided with her 1/4 cup of Instinct Duck and Instinct Rabbit dry food that I’ve mixed together. She has maintained her weight on this diet for the last 3 years.
Question:	How much should I use to top each meal
Answer:	Sorry for the delay. Yes, it is hard food. Use a fork to make a powder and then mix with wet food. My cat loved it. My cat also had teeth problems. It took some time to find the proper proportion of powder and wet food, try 25% powder 75% wet first. Too much powder = constipation. I hope it works for you.
Question:	Is this hard? My cat is missing a lot of teeth and can't chew hard kibble

We recommend resealing it in-between servings to keep the kibble fresh and storing in a cool, dry place. The Raw Boost pieces are freeze-dried so just like human freeze-dried food, we simply removed the moisture making them shelf-stable. That way, they can be stored just like the kibble! Question:	Is this food made in the United States
Answer:	It says on the package: Made in the USA "with the finest ingredients from around the world". So I'd call that a big fat "no". That basically means they get all the ingredients in China, then make it here so they can say "made in the USA". So technically yes, it's "put together" in the USA, but the ingredients are from other countries, which usually means China. Where there's no regulations they have to obide by with their livestock, etc. Their "chicken" could be dead rotting chickens that all died of a disease. Then they just grind it up & ship it off to the USA. Who knows what's actually in it. But when I read some of these reviews, looks like some batches are making cats pretty sick. I certainly don't want to Russian Roulette it with my baby boy & hope he gets a good bag.

Answer:	Your pup could eat this food, all ingredients listed on the cat formula a puppy/dog could eat. what i would suggest is the dog version of this food called PRIMAL FREEZE-DRIED GRAIN-FREE NUGGETS CHICKEN RECIPE FOR DOGS. This way you can follow the feeding guidelines on the back of the bag so you can be 100% sure your feeding the correct amount needed daily. hope this helps !
Question:	Is this really $27.28 for less than one pound of food
Answer:	It's actually 3 pounds of food once water is added. If you look at the front of the bag, it shows that the 14 ounce bag of food makes 3 pounds of food when the correct amount of water is added during feeding.
Question:	Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do with the dusty, ground food meal at the bottom of the bag? There is a lot of it and I hate to waste it
Answer:	Actually, I run each serving (3 bricks/nuggets) through my mini-food processor in order to break them down. It had been messy when I tried breaking them down in the bowl with a spoon. I take the time to process the whole bag 3 bricks at a time ahead of time. I put each serving in a small zip-lock bag so that it's ready to put in the food bowl and add water to when I want it. Any remaining clods of food can be crushed with my fingers while it's in the bag, making it easier to mix with the water. I got this to feed a 20 lbs cat who had allergies that was making him lick areas bald and go into seizures, during which he peed everything. The vets gave him steroid shots which controlled the itching for only a few weeks, and I was told the meds would lead to worse problems over time. He was too fat to clean himself as well. The nuggets help me control the portions. My cat slowly lost 5 lbs, no longer has that itchiness or those seizures. His fur is soft and glossy now.
