Answer:	I had some frozen over a year and the bees still devoured them fine
Question:	Is Spot's Stew chunky or a loaf/pate
Answer:	You won't want to feed during the freezing winter months. Wait until it warms up and bees become active (daytime temps above 54 degrees ferenheit). When you are ready to feed them, place a patty on top of the frames under the cover.
Question:	What is the texture? Chunks? or finely ground [pate]? I'm looking for something chunky for my cat
Answer:	Don’t peel off the paper. The bees tear off the paper as needed, the paper keeps the patty from drying out, and it also slows down hive beetles from laying eggs in the patty. I use half patty per week on new package hive until they stop taking it. Watch for hive beetle larvae and toss that patty if they started laying in it.
Question:	Is this just one can of cat food, or is it a multi-pack? It doesn't say in the description I'm seeing here on Amazon. Thank you
Answer:	Be hard to answer not knowing how big your nuc is or where your nuc is going to live-Alaska or Florida. But if 4-5 frame nuc and somewhere in the middle where I am (Virginia) my answer would be one patty would be ample and I hope you are feeding sugar syrup. I have never had a problem getting a queen or bees to "settle in" so I have never "closed off" a hive or nuc for that purpose. They are also going to need plenty of ventilation if you do close up the nuc/hive. My advice would be to just get them to your place (I just clicked on your screen name and see you are in NC). Close them up with ventilation for no more than 24 hrs they will reorient to their new home. Even if you lose a few foragers your queen will replace them in a day or two. Good luck.

Answer:	It's not formed; it's softer and more like a stew. It's not like a pate which is more solid. It's soupier but not runny. Our cats like it. I don't like the "chunky" ones that have been formed in a lab or kitchen. Try it; your cats will like it.

Answer:	It's finely ground, but not pate, but with whole peas and pieces of carrot. My cat would leave the peas on the plate. I now give my cat Castor & Pollux Ultramix Salmon stew, I think it's called, which is quite chunky - it's pieces of salmon in a light gel-ish sauce, and Natural Instinct Pride flaked Salmon and Tuna - those are someplace in between. They have chunks but they also have more minced bits. If you want chunks full-on, I'd def. go with the Castor & Pollux.
