Answer:	If you are talking about the legs on the bottom of the gate then yes they do come with this gate. I have 2 of these there very nice I highly recommend them there easy to adjust unlike others that I have seen where you have to unscrew them to change the length. I really like this model and like the height of it too. Hope this helps.
Question:	how many inches does it expand
Answer:	The wooden part of the gate is approx 67 in at its widest point. The legs also account for a few inches. I open it all the way and use it to perfectly secure an archway between 2 rooms. The arch is approx 69.5 in wide.

Answer:	There is no way to open this pet gate. You can side it across the floor or lift it up to let your pet out.

Answer:	No, you do not need to buy plunge router to use this bit, but it is nice to have to plunge straight-cutting bits. Piloted are not designed to be plunged into wood.

Question:	Space size between the rails? Can a small Yorkie fit through it
Answer:	I’m not sure of the exact distance between the rails, but my 20 pound German Shepherd puppy had his head get stuck between the wall and the first rail. I made a extra rail out of a piece of wood to make sure it did not happen again. I’m thinking that gap will depend on how far you need to extend the braces.
Question:	Is this gate auto close
Answer:	This gate is auto close and I have two and I love them. Then open either way and self close in either direction. Also if opened just past 90 degrees, they will stay open till given a gentil push then they self close. The product is very well engineered, well built and nicely finished. As a mechanical engineer I can see no wat to improve this product. I would recommend this gate all.
Question:	Will it fit securely on a wall that isn’t flush? I’m looking to put in doorway that has baseboards
Answer:	Yes. We have ours installed that way. The mechanisms can be adjusted accordingly. For example, the top can be extended further than the bottom one which secures to the baseboard.

Question:	The specs says usuable up to 74" and i have a 65" opening, so the answers to these questions are different than what is says. Can someone pls clarify
Answer:	I'm not sure why there are varying answers to this, maybe the product changed? But mine requires two hands, you must push in and twist, then hold while you pull the gate open. To avoid this I twisted the knob and then shoved a thumbtack into the gap at the bottom of the knob, that works just fine for holding the knob in place.
Question:	I want to set this up against part of an existing fence that has slats my Shih Tzu can easily slip through. Will this work
Answer:	First the bottom, in my case -- and after a 'hack-y' fix that lasted another week -- now the top has broken. Doesn't look like a replaceable part -- I've spent a lot of time thinking on how I could "add some hardware" to simulate the missing clips. A shame - because I liked the gate, in concept. Definitely wasn't up to the abuses of regular use and an enthusiastic puppy.
Question:	If the space I need to block off is bigger then 80'' width, is it realistic to buy more then one and put them side by side? Thanks
Answer:	The gate latches to a wall catch plate that holds it while extended. If a baby pushes on the gate or falls on the gate while extended it will flex as the retractable roller does not lock in place. We use these gates as dog barriers and my dogs jump on them all the time, it will flex and then return to use position.
Question:	How wide is panel
Answer:	Be VERY cautious if you are buying this for a large opening. Yes it does extend to 70-71 inches (not 72)... however, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: you need to twist the knob on the left side of the screen before it retracts, and at the same time use your right hand to unhook the screen on the right side. This is a safety feature to make it hard for little kids to retract the screen, it makes it nearly impossible to use for a very large opening, unless you have like a 7-foot wing span and can reach both end of the screen at once. I'm going to contact amazon for a refund because this is not mentioned in the listing info. While it does technically extend to close to six feet, it is not practical at all to use for a six foot opening. (and unfortunately I didn't find this out until it was mounted and I drilled 8 holes in my wall.)

Answer:	Thank you for your question. The brackets on the gate which attach to the wall mounts are fixed and are not adjustable. This gate needs to be flush to the floor when mounting. Mounting it in any other manner not only presents a tripping hazard with the threshold bar but will cause the door panel to not be square, resulting in a nonfunctioning latch.

Question:	How long can these panels stretch out to
Answer:	I just measured my gates again (I have two): 6' long when extended. However, because it would take my dog about 1.5 seconds to knock over the gates if extended straight I zig-zag two together to block my kitchen. This area is longer than 65" so I'm not sure where that comes from. I also think they come in different width/lengths. Hope this helps.
Question:	How do they not just jump up and knock it over
Answer:	the openings are rather small, I don't think a Shil Tzu could get through, we leave an opening at the end for our cat, but the dog cannot get through. I would not recommend if you want a dog to go through the slats. I would leave an opening at the end as we do.
Question:	How much space is there in between the wood slats? Our rabbit can fit through the space in our current gate
Answer:	Yes, I think you can do that. You could just set them up overlapped. Or you could connect them together. They have has predrilled holes on the outside edge of the 4th panel, so I bet you could buy 2 little hinges and screws and connect them with hardware to make a large 8 panel gate. I've also bought this 4- paneled one and split it into 2 two- paneled gates to use in doorways, just by removing the hinges between the 2nd and 3rd panels. So you could buy 2 of them, split one of them in half and use the hinges you removed to attach one half to the other one and you'll end up with a 6 panel version and a 2 panel version. The 2 panel fits well in an interior doorway, which I like better than a baby gate. I hope that helps.

Answer:	We use the "Baby" Gate for our two standard poodles. We have not mounted it to the walls; instead, we use it as a stand alone fence to temporarily block off certain areas. We have it set up now as a kind of playpen for our 5 month old puppy to keep her confined while housebreaking and to keep her from eating our other dog's food at meal times. It works perfectly. We've been using it now for almost two years. Of course, it isn't as secure as it would be if it were attached to the walls, but we wanted something more portable to be used in various places.
Question:	is it free standing on carpet? i want to use this as barrier gate like an arch, does this product serve its purpose?fall when pushed by kids
Answer:	It was not mounted for a couple days and I had to secure it with bins on either side. It currently is wall mounted and I would not trust it around children. When I push on it, it has quite a bit of give (12 inches). I can push it and pull it which is probably putting a lot of stress on the wall screws. The only reason I am keeping it is because I have a 20lb mostly blind dog and not an active toddler.
Question:	will it handle chilren shaking the fence
Answer:	My son jumps up and down trying to shake the fence when he has temper tantrums. It holds up just fine. That said, ours is cable-tied down to rubber mats (link below). I highly recommend this solution, as in addition to shaking, many kids try to move the walls of these things and can move the entire pen around the room. Answer:	Im not sure about that. It does appear that you could use additional sections but, I don't know if the company sells them. You would need to contact the company and check. Its not a bad product and works well for us keeping our dogs from going upstairs.
Question:	How large are the wide openings at the bottom of the gate? I have cats and don't want them to slip through
Answer:	My 9 month old, 6.5 lb kitten can walk straight through the hinge section of the gate. My 10.5 lb middle cat managed to wiggle her head through before I grabbed her (I have no doubt she could have gotten the rest of her through). I wrapped a piece of fabric around this section which has done the trick. My kitten jumps to the top, balances and then jumps down. My older two cats who have been fighting, have not attempted to jump over to get at each other to fight, which was the purpose of the gate. When I want a little extra security, I hang a piece of fabric up another foot and a half from a couple command hooks. I don’t think most cats are going to try to jump through something.
Question:	How wide is door
Answer:	Just bought and installed this in my window so my cat won’t fall through the screen. Opens in so even if he pushes against it he won’t fall through, and I can still operate the sliding window fully. The largest two spaces are 2.75” apart, where the gate meets the side pieces. All other gaps are 2.25”. The only other gap is between the sides and your wall, but depending on how wide your space is, you can add and subtract on the sides. There are 4 side modules that you can add to just one or either side in any combination, or not use them at all. I have a 45” wide window (large wood casement all around), so I have just the gate on the right side where window opens, and used all 4 side modules together on the left. This leaves just under 2” gaps at each side, installed. So if your dog’s head cannot fit out the largest gap, 2.75”, and you keep the end gaps as small, then this will work. Install so the window opens in, obviously! I got the bronze, and it is a perfect match to the room. Looks lovely with the arched design. My large Ragdoll cat is happy just poking his nose through the slats and spreading out in the sun, listening to the birds he can’t catch, and I can open the window all the way now without him jumping at the screen anymore.

Question:	How much does it weigh
Answer:	I’m using mine to span a 54 inch opening between my entry way and the rest of my apartment and it’s perfectly sized for that task. Mine is the three panel version.
Question:	Will it work for a 65 inch opening
Answer:	My golden retriever figured out how to move the gate after reaching 40 lbs. He's probably closer to 50-60 lbs now and still growing. The fence is very unstable when pushed around by a dog. It has fallen down quite a few times doing damage on the fall. I tried using two in front of my stairs. Not an issue for my retriever to get passed. The bolted gate is probably better for larger breeds. I think any dog breed that is decent intelligence and over 40 lbs will figure this gate out in the long run.
Question:	How tall is it
Answer:	I just measured the space between the slats and they are 1 1/2 inch apart. A small rabbit would have no problem getting thru but a big guy couldn't. We use our gate for a small puppy and it is well built and can't be pushed or pulled over. Hope this helps. J. Day

Answer:	Not sure what you want to pen in, but you can always add some fasteners if you need it to stay. It’s really nice quality, heavy feel. But it wouldn’t keep a little child from figuring out a way to topple it.
