Answer:	the perpendicular portion that attaches to the bike frame is adjustable. if you are able to attach it on a lower portion of your bike other than the seat post it should work fine. And it doesn't have to be perpendicular. you don't really want to clip on an extension because then there will be too much leash and in-the-front-of-the-tires-we-go. I have a 100 lb dog and it works perfectly. opposite your dog size, but excellent product. a lady that works for county dog control turned me on to this.
Question:	If the dog pulls quickly, could he possibly knock the bike over? I have a 90 lb. golden retriever who loves to chase squirrels
Answer:	I'm about 250 lbs and my dog is 50 lbs so all I can tell you is that I have total control over her when we're riding. It's a lot easier to ride the bike with her than walking her on a leash.
Question:	has anyone tried this product with a husky? as with all husky who tend to pull, has this product worked
Answer:	I own a husky and use the Walky Dog for her. I do not recommend using the head harness for her while using the Walky Dog because there is a possibility of snapping her neck if she chases something suddenly. I would use an X-Back Harness or an Urban Trail Harness while using the Walky Dog. All of the weight will be pulled from the chest area, which is where they have they most strength. It's what mushers use. :) You can order an X-Back Harness or Urban Trail Harness at www.alpineoutfitters.com. If you don't want to buy one of those, at least use a regular harness so you do not have to have your husky pull unsafely with her neck.

Paracord Parachute Leash rated 550 lb breaking strength. The outer Nylon sheath has a tight braid that's tough and strong. The inner layer Has 7 strands of inner nylon. Light bands of Reflective banding. Leash length may be adjusted. To adjust the length unscrew the solid brass end cap at the end of the wand. You can then take out one or two of the three springs which will increase the length. Taking out 2 springs will allow you 6.5 inches more in leash length. For training purposes it is best to keep the dog close to the bike parallel with the rider and all three springs in use. The closer the dog is to bike the safer it is on the road. Keeping the dog close to the bike and parallel allows you to keep your eye on the road and the dog. If the dog has to much leash he falls out of your view to the back of the bike. Question:	Will this work on a three wheel bike
Answer:	I don't know. I think the rear wheel may get in the way. I use the "Dogger Jogger" which I like better because my bike remains more stable since the connection to the bike is lower and much less susceptible to the dog pulling. I'm still not sure if it would work with a three wheeler but the people of dogger jogger were very receptive to my questions so I am sure they would respond to you.
Question:	I need a new plastic hook and a safety release for the Springer - can you help me
Answer:	I can't help in terms of knowing where to get the plastic parts like the originals...BUT...I can tell you that I've had way better results using a metal carabiner(any hardware store will have them in numerous sizes and shapes). I use the Springer with 3 big dogs who want to chase everything. A metal carabiner, and if I(or they) see something they might want to chase, pedal FASTER. Seriously, the dog's priority will be to keep up with master, not chase the kitty.3 big dogs with minds of their own, and doing this for 5 years, never fallen off the bike or had any safety issues yet.
Question:	will this work on an adult tricycle
Answer:	I don't think so as the rear wheel would interfere with the dog. If you lengthened the lead and the dog fell behind the rear wheel would interfere with the rope/lead.
Question:	The narrative states an "emergency release" feature, does that mean a strong pulling dog could quickly pull away
Answer:	I'm not sure what the emergency release feature is, but I had a 110 pound dog on it once who lunged after a squirrel and the Springer held the dog. If I recall correctly (it's been a while ago) I stopped the bike and put my feet on the ground so as to hold the bike. But I do remember that I was surprised at how well the Springer absorbed the pulling of the dog; in other words, when the dog lunged, it didn't pull the bike as much as I would have expected. I have noticed that the plastic eyelet that attaches to the harness LOOKS sort of incomplete -- it doesn't shut all the way. That has always worried me a bit, but I've never had a dog get off of the eyelet, and I've used this on 5 dogs by now of varying sizes. Still, I like to put another leash on the dog's collar as a backup. I wrap the other end of the backup leash loosely around my fingers of my left hand. I can feel from that leash if the dog pulls before I feel it from the Springer. It helps me assess what my dog is doing without having to eyeball him the entire time. Another little trick I like to do is to put 1 1/2 paper towel cardboard rolls on the string between the eyelet that attaches to the dog's harness and the eyelet that is part of the Spring. That keeps the dog from running in toward the bike; it keeps him in a pretty good heeled position.Don't forget to let your dog determine how fast to go and when to stop. Also, don't forget to keep the dog's pads in mind. If it's a hot day and you run him on hot pavement, it may be burning the pads of his feet if they haven't been hardened and calloused to the heat.

The Safety Release

The “safety release” instantly frees your dog should a post, tree or hydrant come between you. The safety release will break so to avoid injury to you and your dog.

The safety release is attached to a sturdy 18” rope that is knotted through the appropriate hole, depending on dog’s strength. Use the largest end if he is a strong puller.

Each Springer Kit comes with 10 safety releases, 1 rope leash and 1 metal clip.

The Clamp

The clamp fits most regular, touring and mountain bikes. You need 3.5” of vertical space on the bike frame or the seat stem. It features a channel for cables. (One clamp is included in the Springer kit.)

Between trips, you can remove the Springer in two seconds by simply releasing the cotter pin.

Buy an extra clamp for an additional bike. This way you can easily move the Springer Arm from one bike to the other.

The Adapter

The adapter will enable you to lower or raise the Springer arm on your bike 4 inches up or down without moving the Springer bracket or clamp. This will clear the arm from skimming your heel as you pedal. This 4-inch difference enables the Springer to fit on more bike models.

Answer:	I've used this for almost daily runs with my 54lbs Catahoula mix and it is great for her--no chafing or stress on her neck or under her legs or tummy and no pulling for me! We compete in 5k runs and we are a great team thanks to this sport harness--it's my favorite Might Dog product when paired with their bungee leash. It takes some training to coordinate the running with the dog but it's worth the effort.

Answer:	No, due to safety concerns this Dog Bike Leash Attachment is meant for the seat post only.

Answer:	There is a quick-release button on the bracket that allows you to detach the pole.

Answer:	No, this dog bike leash attachment is not meant to be used on a tricycle.

Question:	Can this be used on the right side of a trike? my bike path requires right side travel--thank you
Answer:	I believe the standard is right side (the company's ad picture has it on the right side), so I would really think so. I used it on the left because my dog only has his right eye, but I remember thinking it would have easier to attach it on the other side. In the end it will come down to your bike, but it is built so that it fits most bicycles. If you send me a picture of the trike I can make a better guess? Sorry I can't give a definitive answer. Question:	Will that attachment also work for a larger dog
Answer:	yes- both of my dogs are large 55 lbs & I use it with them
Question:	I have a quick release for my rear tire will the low rider work with this? Or is there a better modification to work with a corgi who is 10 inches
Answer:	You will be fine. The quick release pin fits perfectly in the attachment. When you take off your tire the walky dog will come off with your pin. I notice virtually no difference taking off the wheel when this is on the bike.
Question:	Does using the "Low Rider" attachment keep the bike steadier when your dog pulls? My dog is pretty well behaved, I just want to minimize my chances of
Answer:	It keeps the dog a certain distance from your wheels, and the dog cannot go behind or in front of you. Otherwise, it's really how your dog behaves when riding with you. Mine thinks he's a musher or something; he pulls incredibly hard, and I have to keep the brakes lightly on to keep him from going too fast. Once we ride a couple of blocks, he settles down. You can still get hurt. My dog "planted all fours" to relieve himself. He stayed in place, I toppled over. With that said, I will add that my dog LOVES LOVES LOVES the Walky Dog. Whenever he sees the bikes in the garage, he starts barking, dancing, and singing until you give him a run. My dog is a 70-lb. Labrador. Other smaller dogs probably wouldn't be a problem as far as pulling you off to the side. However, with a big dog, you're going to have to keep an eye on them and be alert for sudden stops, or distractions (like a squirrel) where the dog may want to detour. I don't regret the purchase. Like I said, he absolutely loves his Walky Dog and goes nuts over it. It's a great way to exercise your dog. I'm 60, so I can't run him, and it seems like walking just isn't enough to wear him out properly.

Answer:	Hmm~This may happen, so we make the rope not very long and elastic, once your dog suddenly pull, the elastic rope eases the force. In addition, we are try to produce some optional accessories that allow you to mount the stick on the rear wheel or bike frame so that you can reduce the risk while walking a quite active big dog.
Question:	Is this suitable to use on an ATV
Answer:	If your seatpost is nomal size (25.6mm~31.8mm), our leash mount can be installed with no problem.
Question:	What diameter is the clamp? Trying to determine if it can be attached to my handlebars of my bike and scooter for joring
Answer:	It is adjustable, it fits my mountain bike just fine
