Answer:	Hello,The vest from the "V" point of the vest to the tail is about 17.5 inches. It's important that when sizing your dog not to measure from the collar. The vest lays back from the neck to give room for a collar or a harness clip. If you measure about 3 inches from the collar that is where the vest will lay at the neck and then measure 17.5 inches to the tail. These measurements are for the vest sized Large. Question:	Is this the same as the Petflect Vest? My dogs are very rough on these, and Petfleck usually only last a season. Need durability - double stitching
Answer:	I don't know about the Petflect Vest. My dog is very rough on his and it seems to be holding up okay and I really like how it fits nicely. I think the company would be wise to have more rugged velco for larger dogs who are extremely active. Ours will come off if rolling on his back and I did have to stitch it up once when the front attachment came off. And no it is not doubled stitched.

Answer:	There is a double ring at the clasp which is located at the top (shoulder area of the dog). Our breeder recommended this and I gotta tell you, it was a bit of a waste of money. While well made and convenient , especially at the baby stage, our pup stopped using it at about 12 weeks when we started his training. The trainer recommended a Martingale Collar (Amazon) and I much prefer this type.

POSITION

Unbuckle the chest strap and loosen the nest strap. Slide your pup's head through the neck piece, and arrange the chest straps between the two front legs, under the chest.

FASTEN

Snap the strap buckles together.

ADJUST

To extend the neck straps, pull the neck slider away from the logo, bringing it colser to the front leash attachment ring. The above picture refers to the maximum neck position.

Push the Red Button to the locked position.
