Question:	Old chi boy has narrow hips yet very chesty. When measuring it says to measure hips (widest part of the body)? So is it hips or widest part
Answer:	My little chi has the same issue - being big on the top and very yet this isn’t an issue because it is an adjustable wheelchair in width which helps tremendously. The hips will be supported by the hanging device designed to keep hip to feet off the ground.
Question:	We bought the one with the back wheels and are now thinking we need the front wheels too. How do we order them
Answer:	We had to modify our pet wheelchair to fit him and his needs, not sure about front wheels but sure we could also add wheels to the front. You could like at some wheelchairs on line and see if they have some with front wheel and get an idea on how to add them yourself. We had to had a vest type halter that was used for outings that buckled on the back of our dogs, and attach leash to it, once we modified the front halter it worked out really well. I didn't care for the strap that came with the unit, was concerned about choking and it didn't hold his front body up.

Answer:	well it cant come assembled that would probably be disateruos. But it really Is Not difficult At all. Very simple dont let the looks of it disassembled scare you. take your time and read the instructions first, youll also need your dog available for the rt adjustment fitting or measure your dog, which is what i did, tape measure her. That worked for me. bc trying to hold her up with one hand and adjust the device ...not easy task. but if youve got another person available to help that would be great. hope this helped. I looked at many way over priced wheelcarts, and this one is perfect, its light weight for the dog, small and simple. NOt over complicated like a lot those other higher priced units. This one does the job very adequately

How to Choose the Right Size

The weight of the dog on the sizing guide is for reference only. Every dog is shaped differently, and we recommend using the length measurement as your primary measurement.

When measuring start at the base of the rib cage. Every dog positions their legs differently, and this can change the size scooter your pet needs. If your pet’s legs extend behind them as they drag, measure to the tips of their toes, if your dog sits on their legs as they scoot, measure to the end of the rump.

“Can my pet lie down in the Scooter?” Yes, they can lie down while using they Scooter. Because their back end is slightly raised some pets may not find this comfortable and may prefer to sit on the scooter. For most dogs laying down is not an issue.

Answer:	I just tried it on my chi who is 5lbs....I would go with the XXS....although the small one lowers all the way down it looks too big for her ...your dog will love being able to get around, takes a couple of days to get used to. I would put my dogin it for maybe 5-10 mins at a time thru the day and let her rest in between, she eventually got the use of her legs back after many trips to vet and acupuncture, lots of $$$$, now she walks around good, however on the occasion that her leg starts to get wobbly again I put her back in it on and off or about a week. You have to watch them in this thing because if they try to get up on something like a dog bed or up a step that is a little too high they can topple over and get tangled and not be able to move. They also cannot lie down if tired so need to keep an eye on that too. Good luck with it, I wished I had bought mine sooner. My dog is 14lbs and it's good size and weight for her, but too heavy for your little one.
